The main campus of the University is spread over 500 acres of land area comprising numerous buildings for academic, residential, administrative, sports, etc. Modern equipment like interactive boards, LCD projectors, and android-based touch panels are present in the classrooms to make the teaching process more effective & engaging for the students. GNDU Amritsar has set up numerous lecture halls and a lecture theatre complex within the premises.

• Library: The University has built a 5-storeyed ‘Bhai Gurdas Library’ in the campus containing numerous printed academic materials, online resources, and databases. Ample computing devices are there in the digital lounge of the library to ensure that students can access the e-resources.
  Within the library, separate sections such as ‘Prof. Pritam Singh Section’, seminar-cum-orientation hall, ‘Punjabi Reference Library’, rare books & manuscripts, photocopy service, etc. are there to enhance the academic knowledge of the students. The reading hall of the library is air-conditioned and can accommodate approximately 250 students. Around 22 departmental libraries are present in the campus.
• Laboratories: There are numerous computer labs at the University with the latest configuration of hardware & software in the PCs. Other than this, the departments at the campus have high-tech labs with required devices and machines so that students can learn the theories through practical examples.

• Auditoriums: Several auditoriums are present within the premises including ‘Dashmesh Auditorium’, ‘Maharaja Ranjit Singh Bhawan Auditorium’, ‘Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan Auditorium’, and others. Adequate arrangements are done in these auditoriums to make the events interactive.
• Seminar & Conference Hall: GNDU Amritsar has a number of seminar rooms / halls & conference halls and they are used to organise small-scale academic meetings, interviews, presentations, webinars, etc.
• Cafeteria: Around 10 canteens & cafeterias including ‘South Indian Café’ are available in the premises to serve diverse range of quick snacks & nutritious meal options to the students.
• Hostels: The University has established around 7 hostels for boys (‘Sahibjada Jujhar Singh Boys’ Hostel’, ‘Sahibzada Zorawar Singh Boy's Hostel’ and others) & girls (‘Mata Nanaki Girls Hostels’) in the campus. GNDU Amritsar Hostels can collectively accommodate 3800+ male & female students and they get access to required facilities like furnished rooms in multiple occupancies, mess, canteens, common room, reading hall, indoor & outdoor games, medical room, etc.
• Sports: Sports related events, facilities, etc. are managed by the ‘Department of Physical Education’ at GNDU Amritsar Campus. There is a ‘Sports Complex’ in the campus containing ‘Astro-turf Hockey Stadium’, swimming pool, and other facilities. Within the campus, there are Football Grounds, Cricket Patches, Lawn Tennis, Basketball Courts, Volleyball Courts, Hockey Grounds, and facilities for other outdoor games.
  Table-Tennis, Carrom, Judo, and other indoor games along with required facilities are present in the ‘Multi-Purpose Hall’. Indoor & outdoor gymnasiums are also available in the premises.
• Transportation: Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar owns numerous buses and e-vehicles (within the campus) to provide transport services to the students.
• Healthcare Facilities: The Health Centre of GNDU Amritsar has experienced medical staff and facilities are also there for ECG, X-ray, Mammography, and others. In case of any severe emergency, the University has 24x7 ambulance services and sends the students to nearby Government & Multi-specialty hospitals.
