Overall Rating
GNDU offers a rich and diverse educational environment that fosters personal growth, academic excellence, and cultural awareness. GNDU is renowned for its strong academic programs. They encourage critical thinking and provide the support needed to excel in coursework. The library and research facilities are well-equipped, making it conducive for academic exploration.
 

Academics Rating
GNDU is a place where you can grow academically, personally and socially. The academic experience may vary from student to student, so I would like to suggest visiting one’s own academic weaknesses and strengths before joining this university because I personally feel teachers here are less interested in teaching. It is advisable to consider one's personal preference and goals when evaluating the college/University. I would give 2.5/5 to Academics.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors and lecturers are not just educators but mentors who are deeply committed to the success of their students (only few of the professors though). The faculty at GNDU is highly knowledgeable in their respective fields. Whether you are in the sciences, humanities, or any other discipline, you will find experts who are passionate about their subjects. I would give $.5/5 to the faculty.
 

Placement Rating
GNDUs placement record is commendable but may require some enhancements to meet the expectations of all students. (According to seniors)
 

Hostel Rating
Whether you are into music, dance, sports, or social causes, there are numerous clubs and societies to join inside the hostel groups. I would give 4/5 for hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The sprawling campus of GNDU is a sight to behold. The campus boasts excellent sports facilities and a vibrant cultural scene. While some buildings may need a little modernization, they do not detract from the overall experience. You will meet peers from all corners from India and around the world which greatly impacts the infrastructural development. I would give 4.5/5 for Infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is in the great city of Amritsar which is known for its monuments and history. Campus Life is fun in university as well as around the University. The Golden Temple is a stone's throw away and offers a serene escape. However, the crowded area in which the university is present and the hustle bustle around it may not be for everyone. I would give 3.5/5 for Campus Life.

    I think I am well suited to answer this question as I have done my bachelors and also doing my masters in Economics from same department and same university. If you don't want to go away from your hometown or out from your comfort zone then do enroll and get admission as we should not forget it is A++ graded so degree holds a lot of value.     Who doesn’t want a healthy atmosphere in a place where one has to spend almost half the time of the day? The University is one of the best universities which offers different courses to the students as well as offers placements to the students which is the most important to the students pursuing graduation.
