The REVA University, Bangalore is situated amidst lush greenery offering a holistic and peaceful environment to the students for their overall growth. The University has multiple blocks including Administrative Block, Swami Vivekananda Block, Science Block, etc. which offers state-of-the-art facilities for the students within its premises.
The campus of the University is spread over on a land of around 45 acres with a built up area of approximately 1,70,000 square meters. Multiple amenities are available at the REVA University campus including smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, hostels, libraries, food court, and others for the students.
Students can access an extensive range of academic as well as recreational facilities within the REVA University campus. Moreover, 200+ smart classrooms equipped with advanced audio-visual equipments are present to uplift the learning experience of the students. Also, tutorial rooms are available within the University premises.
In addition, to organise several events, workshops, etc., there are around 7 auditoriums including ‘Chanakya Auditorium’, ‘Kuvempu Auditorium’, and so on which can accommodate around 500 to 1250 students. Moreover, an amphitheatre named ‘REVA Rangasthala’ and several open-air stages including ‘Saugandhika’ and others are present to conduct multiple co-curricular activities.
Furthermore, a number of seminar halls such as ‘Kalpana Chawla’, ‘Aryabhatta’, ‘CK Prahalad’, and others are there within the REVA University campus to conduct seminars, webinars, and other academic events.
Also, multiple CCTV cameras are installed at various locations within the University’s campus to ensure the safety of the students. Furthermore, the campus has several studios, a theatre, guest house, and other facilities.
The University offers a wide variety of facilities for the students; some of these are as follows:
- Library: A fully air-conditioned ‘Central Library’ built on an area of approximately 35,680 sq.ft and multiple departmental libraries stocked with a wide variety of educational resources are present within the University premises. In addition, within the central library, students can access more than 1,14,000 printed textbooks, 33,500+ reference books, 29,500+ titles, and so on.
Moreover, to enhance the overall learning experience of the students a digital library with 200+ PCs is there at REVA University campus which offers more than 2,50,000 e-books and several other online learning resources. Also, dedicated spaces for reading & browsing and a library seminar hall ‘AV Room’ is present within the library.
- Laboratories: In order to help students in their academics, multiple Computer labs with adequate systems are there at the University. Apart from this, numerous laboratories are there in departments like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Arts, Humanities & Social Science, etc. with adequate facilities.
In addition to this, some of the labs at REVA University Bangalore campus are Fluid Mechanics lab, Psychology lab, Biochemistry lab, Robotics & 3D Library lab, Medical Radiology & Diagnostic Imaging lab, etc.
- Sports: At the Institution’s campus, numerous facilities for outdoor and indoor sports are available to elevate the overall well-being of the students. Moreover, for indoor games around 6 Carrom boards, 3 Table Tennis boards, 60 Chess boards, and so on are there.
Additionally, a 6 acres of land is available outdoor games facilities including 2 Basketball Courts & Cricket Nets, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Cricket Ground, etc. are available.
- Hostels: To offer separate residential facilities to boys’ & girls’, around 9 ‘Halls of Residence’ are available at the REVA University campus which can collectively accommodate more than 3000 students. In addition to this, the rooms at the REVA University Hostel are equipped with requisite amenities like beds, study desk, etc. and are available on single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancies.
Furthermore, multiple facilities like vending machines, Wi-Fi, laundry, mess, and others are available for the hostellers.
- Food Court: A ‘REVA Food Court’ with dining facility and multiple eateries with counters of 9+ cuisines including North & South Indian, Chinese, etc. is there at the University to offer nutritious & healthy food for the students.
- Transportation: Multiple buses, cars, and vans are available at the University to offer safe & reliable transport facilities to the students across the Bangalore city.
- Medical Facilities: A ‘Reva Health Centre’ is present within the University along with around 2 qualified doctors to provide medical help to the students. In addition, for medical emergencies, the University has tie-ups with multiple nearby hospitals and an ambulance is available 24/7 within the premises for the same.
- Gymnasium: Several gymnasiums and a ‘REVA Fitness Centre’ spread across a 10,000 sq.ft area are present within the University with modern equipment for the students so that they can stay physically fit.
- Banking: At the campus, a branch of Karnataka Bank and ATM is available for the students to access financial services.
