IIIT Kota Fees Structure & Courses 2026

I am doing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and the reason I picked this course is that I have always been into tech. IIIT Kota's new UG CSE curriculum has really been curated with deep thought. It is designed in a way that mixed theory with hands-on learning. The admission is done through JEE Main and then JoSAA counseling. Once you are in, there is a mix of mid-semester and end-semester exams. It is not too much to handle, but it does keep you connected on a daily basis.

The fee that I have paid is around 1.1 Lakh per semester for tuition. In the first semester, there were some one-time charges for admission and registration. I chose Computer Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Information Technology because I was adamant of pursuing this branch and hence it is the reason of joining this college. Admission at IIIT Kota is done by JOSAA and CSAB counseling rounds based on your JEE score and Rank. We have 2 major exams each semesters- mid-semester and end-semester. There are total 8 semesters in the course. The exams are quite lethargic and you can't depend on classes. You have to read books or watch YouTube videos for good grades. Apart from that, you have to develop your skills. Your seniors will help you here. Faculties are less encouraging and helpful nature.

Its approximately (tuition fees) Rs. 1,11,000/- and (hostel + mess) fee is Rs. 38,000/- per semester. First year fee is a bit higher. This is for General category. For others, it’s less. To get admission in this institute, one needs to give JEE Main for the UG program and GATE examination for the M.Tech program. You need to qualify JEE Main exams with around 96 to 98 percentile. Admission process was very simple. One needs to fill the JoSAA counseling form for that. Exams are held twice. In any semester gap between them are around 2 months.

The tuition fee for my program is Rs. 1,11,000/- for a semester and Rs. 38,000/- for a year wise, it costs around Rs. 2, 22,800/- including other charges. For the hostel and mess, it is Rs. 76,000/- per year. In the first, you have to pay Rs. 10,000/- for the admission fees, which is non-refundable. For the SC and SC students, it costs Rs. 90,000/- for a semester. There is scholarship for all the students. For example, the NSP and reliance scholarship are students who have family income less than 2 LPA.Read Full Review
