Overall Rating
For me, overall experience at the institute is average. I have chosen this institute as it offers Electronics and according to my JEE Main rank, it was most suitable and another factor is that it was closer to my hometown. Moreover, infrastructure is good overall whats build in it and is after all an institute of national importance, which helps to take this decision.

Academics Rating
To get admission in this institute, one needs to give JEE Main for the UG program and GATE examination for the M.Tech program. You need to qualify JEE Main exams with around 96 to 98 percentile. Admission process was very simple. One needs to fill the JoSAA counseling form for that. Exams are held twice. In any semester gap between them are around 2 months.
The tuition fee for my program is Rs. 1,11,000/- for a semester and Rs. 38,000/- for a year wise, it costs around Rs. 2, 22,800/- including other charges. For the hostel and mess, it is Rs. 76,000/- per year. In the first, you have to pay Rs. 10,000/- for the admission fees, which is non-refundable. For the SC and SC students, it costs Rs. 90,000/- for a semester. There is scholarship for all the students. For example, the NSP and reliance scholarship are students who have family income less than 2 LPA.

Faculty Rating
We have around 40 to 50 faculties out of which around 15 to 20 are assistant professors and 2 to 3 are professors & along with the other staffs for the labs and guest faculties. Most of the teachers have done the Ph.D. Most of them teach well. Mostly teachers teach on green board in class but also use PPT and online mode sometimes. The teacher to student ratio is less. We are familiar with the teachers and they help us in difficult situations.

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement cell is present in my institute. They help students by bringing many companies in the institute. They hire SPCs (Student Placement Coordinators). Average package is around 11 to 12 Lakh per year.

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institute offers the hostel facilities. Total number of rooms in the hostel are around 500 to 600. They provide fan, bed, 1 almirah, study table, and proper lightning. Mess food is not up to the mark. there are no hostel timings for the boys but for the girls, it is 10 PM.

Infrastructure Rating
Academics blocks are good infrastructure is good but they are under construction campus size is 100 acres. Classrooms are good as they have ACs and are properly furnished. Library is average as it is quite compact. A canteen and sports facilities are also there. For the medical facilities, we have an emergency clinic.

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is average. The institute crowd is not much as there are around 1000 to 1100 students present. Yes, there are many clubs present in the institute (15 to 20). I am a part of 2 to 3 clubs. These clubs organize other curricular activities and events in the institute. For an annual event, a tech summit happens in my institute, which includes the activities of the tech clubs and hackathons.

I have currently finished my first year at IIIT Kota and will be moving on to the second year soon. I have joined this Institute mainly because of its solid academic reputation and its rapid growth. It is still in its developing phase but already shows a lot of promise. I have personally been part of the Technical Society and three different clubs, and that gave me a chance to explore beyond just academics. There is a lot of space to grow here if you take the initiative. The environment is very ... Read Full Review

Indian Institute of Information Technology is a tier 2 college which was previously situated in MNIT Jaipur but now it has its own campus building at Ranpur, Kota. Based on the outskirts of the city, it has poor connectivity but is in constant growing phase. I chose this college because it was newly made and shifted so our batch thought it will in MNIT Jaipur. Overall, my experience is neutral. It has its own facilities and club but is in growing stage where multiple things are yet to be built a... Read Full Review

IIIT Kota is a decent college to opt for as it has good placements compared to other IIITs and other private colleges and universities. They provide good education and also encourage the students for practicing coding. My experience has been very good here. If you will be hard working and will study yourself as well then you will not face any difficulty. I will definitely recommend this college to everyone.... Read Full Review
