PES University Electronic City B.Tech Fees Structure 2025 & Admission Process, Bangalore

I chose B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering, as I have been interested and passionate about this subject and especially in coding. However, they have now changed it to be JEE being the criteria for it. For Karnataka students, you can get in through JEE, or KCET. The fee structure is different based on the joining procedure. You would need around 90 to 95 percentile in JEE Main to get a confirmed seat in the counseling process. We have 2 Internal Semester Assessments in a Semester, along with an End Semester Assessment. The academics test every part of the syllabus and prepares you well for not only the different coding tests top companies take, but also prepares you for the interview process.

The year wise fee of CSE is 4.8 Lakh, which includes Rs. 10,000 for exam fees, 4.21 Lakh for tuition fees, Rs. 11,426 for Library fee and Rs. 37,574 being Other fees. There are three types of scholarships you can avail, if you are in the top 5% of the batch, it fetches you 50% scholarship. Being in the top 25% of the batch fetches you 40% scholarship. I chose B.Tech CSE here as it is the best here and also it is inclined towards my interest in computers. The exams accepted here are PESSAT (which is discontinued from 2025), JEE MAINS, KCET and Management Quota. The cutoff for JEE MAINS will be around 95-96 percentile for CS in EC campus. The cutoff for CSE at EC campus is around 6000 in KCET. The exams that are organised here are 2 mids and 1 final semester in each semester.

The tuition fee at PES University for PESSAT or JEE MAINS quota is Rs. 5,00,000 per year and Rs. 1,50,000 for KCET quota per year. Top 5 % students get 50% refund and next 20% students get 40% tuition fee refunded as Scholarships based on CGPA.Read Full Review

The course I chose is B.Tech with CSE. The entrance exams for this university are PESSAT. There are various other entrance exams like JEE Main and KCET that is a public exam in Karnataka. PESSAT exam is one of the gateway by which many students get entry to this university. Even though, the university is Karnataka, the teachers here are multilingual and the student also come from all around the country.

For the ones who are coming through PESSAT, the fee is about 4.8 Lakh on the yearly basis. For the ones who are coming through KCET it is about 1.2 Lakh per year.Read Full Review
