MET Institute of Management Placements: Average & Highest Package 2025, Mumbai

Luckily our placements were done before the Covid scare arrived. We were supposed to join in June but that happened after September but nonetheless, it happened is more important. I haven’t been to my office to date and still working from home but the job that I have is all because of MET. All the sectors companies were present and faculty members too were from different industrial backgrounds. I saw Roti, Kapda, aur Makaan some 15 years back and decided then that I will be working with one of these companies. Reality or Textile sector company’s options were not provided and therefore I decided to be a part of FMCG Company. Luckily I appeared before 8-10 companies and the top among them HUL were quite happy with my profile as my family business is also related to the same sector. I was gutted at once but was equally happy the next moment after the offer letter arrived 10 days after my placement interview. Placements at MET is like a matter of time because, you know, eventually, they will happen. Over a dozen top companies and then some midcap companies took great care of the students. Please don't believe in those speculated figures of highest package of 40 Lakhs per annum and all. I was there and heard the same stories but trust me, nothing like that happens. It can happen once in a blue moon, but not in reality. The third semester was all about internship and the beginning of the fourth semester was all about placements. We had a range of companies that visited the campus throughout. Many companies have beforehand collaborated with MET and they took the entire batch of ours. Thus, the placement was 100% and companies like Standard Chartered, ABN Amro, Ceat, Thomas Cook, and BA Continuum Solutions were among some of them who were more than happy in giving us a role in their organizations. The average salary offered was 8-9 lakhs and mind you the average is much better than many so-called best B-Schools of Mumbai.Read Full Review
