MET Institute of Management Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

Most of the B-Schools in India has been started with a motive of making profits but MET is exceptional. The fees is high but it all accounted for the kind of facilities and the opportunities that are provided at MET Institute of Management. MMS which I heard for the first time that a course like this even exists was the one I took admission in. The college is ranked among the top 30 B-schools and is ranked higher for many reasons. One of them has to be the kind of opportunities that are provided. Industrial visit and training by professionals were new for most of us as 90% of the students came directly after their graduation while 10% had a work-ex behind their back. Their help was a thankless job because they supported us and also guided us on which industry to choose and what skill set are required for certain industries. Even though I was an outsider I never felt so as the students or the faculty were not intimidating at all. They were all so welcoming that 2 years gone away without even getting a complete feel. Due to Covid, the final semester was stopped and the remaining classes happened online and we had a nice 4 months break because Mumbai University made sure that PG students will have to appear for the exams.Read Full Review

MBA is inevitable and my search for that brought me to Mumbai where there is not just an Arabian Sea but a sea of opportunities too. Not comparing Delhi with Mumbai as there are many premium institutes like IMT Ghaziabad, FMS Delhi, IILM Institute, and many more. MET was more out of curiosity as it has a management quota and for average students like me who aren’t as sharp who can crack the entrances, MET serves as the best possible options. MET is located in Bandra which is one of the most happening places among the suburbs. The campus is of one building but the building itself is a world of its own. MET has many different programs and the one I did was MMS. It’s Master of Management Studies which was a completely new term for me because I have ever in my life did hear about such a course. MET Institute of Management may not be a huge name or a famous name but the in-depth knowledge that the institute provides is peerless. A large chunk of college shares are owned by politician Chagan Bhujbal and the institute is run under his guidance. Many prominent personalities from all walks of life came and gave guest lectures. Knowing about their journey and the skill required to excel is what was taught in those lectures. The MMS course is affiliated to Mumbai University and MH CET score plus the GD and PI process and then the final admissions. It was a lengthy process but MBA or equivalent course has the same drill. Luckily it isn't a residential program and the college is located in the lavish Bandra. The industry connects that the institute has helped us in getting the best internship and then the final placements. The PG program at MET is industry-related and the faculty helped us understand our professional strength. MET is a dedicated B-School and the success story of MET Alumni was one of the main reasons for me joining this institute.Read Full Review
