BMS Institute of Technology and Management Faculty Profile, Bangalore

There are about 10 faculty members in my course. Considering there are 6 subjects, with one teacher for each, and two labs pertaining to two lab teachers per lab subject. There are a total of 151 faculty in my college. The average teaching experience ranges from a minimum of 10 years to the sky limits of almost 30 years of experienced outreach. Academic qualifications of faculties are majorly a bachelors, masters and in most of the cases PhD too.

The faculty teaches subjects very ardently and are there to clarify our doubts at all time. They not only stick to the syllabus but take the subject to another level of innovation and deep learning with real time examples and versatility. The college has well-experienced, highly trained faculty with the majority of them have pursued a Ph.D. Most staff members use new methods of teaching with smart classes and interactive sessions, while a few stick to traditional methods of teaching. The staff helps solve any doubts if approached after classes. Lecturers also guide regarding career and higher academic opportunities. They put efforts in making the students industry ready. In my experience, for students who show curiosity in topics, few staff members take extra effort in solving the queries.

The college also assigns personal mentors to every student, who helps concerning any personal or academic issue. The laboratories have separate staff who are highly knowledgeable regarding practical applications of the subjects. They are extremely helpful in tackling problems that occur during lab sessions. The college also organizes technical conferences, guest lectures, and workshops to expand the knowledge horizon in students and expose them to the latest happenings in the field of engineering.Read Full Review
