Mithibai College of Arts Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

Mithibai College is located in Vile Parle West, Mumbai. The college has several academic blocks dedicated to different streams like Commerce, Arts, Science and Management. There are several classrooms some can accommodate 50-60 students and some can accommodate 100-120 students. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards as well as whiteboards with CCTV cameras in the class. The college offers a big library, Labs, Seminar Hall, auditorium, conference room, etc. There are 3 canteens in the building each offering tasty and hygienic meals.

The campus is always lively as there is always something happening. The crowd is diverse and friendly. You meet people from different backgrounds, courses and even states! There are many clubs like NSS, Green club, DLLE, etc. There is also a sports committee for the ones who are interested in sports and similarly there is Mithibai Cultural Committee (MCC), which has various teams like the dance team, music team, fashion team, drama team, etc. The college organizes debates, guest lectures, sports activities, annual talent search, etc. The fests are the soul of this college. ‘Kshitij’ is one of the best cultural festivals in Mumbai. ‘Finanza’, ‘Reclamo’ and ‘Numéro are also some famous fests of this college. Trust me but most students like me have chosen this college purely for the location. We do have all the facilities that other colleges talks about. Be it recreation centre, canteen, seminar hall or the vibrant classrooms, we have them all, but inside one building. As apart from a small parking space, we have nothing other than a huge building in terms of infrastructure. We have a library and a student activity area which is of entire one floor. Thus, we don't have separate corners or field but one building of ours has it all.

For all those who want to gain quality education and enjoy campus life, please come to Mithibai campus once. Not a single student is there, who doesn't have hunger or drive, as our campus life is such that it will always keep one engaged. So, many great people who have passed out from our campus are called upon for motivation and so many other activities are conducted to charge us up. I can list endless things about the college, but it took me some thinking to mention the highlights that I have mentioned so far. The infrastructure is good and quite huge in size (considering the fact that it is situated in Mumbai). There are 4 entrance gates, and 9 floors. Classrooms are large enough and have ACs and smart boards. The library is also very big and have many books one can almost find any book there the library is fully air conditioned and clean. The college has best affordable canteen there is bakery too where one can find tasty affordable desserts. Auditorium is on 1st floor i.e. JJH and there is an another auditorium i.e. Mukesh Patel auditorium in NMIMS building. For sports there is no such space in college itself but they have a ground i.e. JVPD where the sports function is held. I like the waiting area which is outside the building it's very pleasant there.

My campus life is overall good. It totally depends on individual how they come and interact. There are many clubs in college and many fest and events happens the day or another. In addition, Kshitij is very known and famous annual fest of this college. The clubs don't have any fee but its film society charges Rs. 500 to join for the year. There are co-curricular activities too one will be given options to choose and this is from 2nd semester onwards.Read Full Review
