Mithibai College of Arts Fees Structure & Courses 2025, Mumbai

I am currently pursuing BMS because I am interested to study Management. For enrolling in other courses, 12th boards percentage is enough but for BMS you are supposed to appear for MAH BBA BMS CET (eligibility criteria is completing 10+2) and the selection will be on the basis of percentile you sore in the test. My admission process in the college was stress free as the teachers were very helpful. In this course, you will have to appear for internal continuous assessment (40 marks for major and 20 marks for minor subjects) each semester and an end semester examination (60 marks for major and 30 marks for minor subjects).

The fee for my course was Rs. 49,500 for first year. The fees details include fees for library, laboratory, examination, gymkhana etc. SC, ST, OBC, VJNT, SBC students may get fee concessions or scholarships based on government schemes.Read Full Review

Academics here are done systematically and at a pace where students never felt the burden of studies beyond campus much. So, academics is the thing which has held Mithibai College, and for that matter other colleges of the trust held together. So, in short academics of our college is a calming influence on us, as B.Com is often considered as a piece of paper degree. However, boundaries that can be breached through our degree and skills set to be endured; all are taught at our college.

Rs. 10,250 is the fees at Mithibai for doing B.Com. For other courses as well, our college fees is very reasonable.Read Full Review

My course is B.A in Psychology & Philosophy. One needs good percentage in 12th board examination it can be from CBSE or HSC. Now there are two types of students in-house students & outside students and the admission list comes accordingly the passing percentage for in-house students is specifically low as compared to outsiders. I got 91.4% in my 12th boards and I got the admission after 2nd list i.e. 3rd list. Then you have to submit some documents like Adhaar card, Mumbai university’s form, college admission form, 12th & 10th class marksheet, birth certificate, etc. In-house students have to submit documents offline and outside students have to submit the documents online. Now from this year, it has implemented new education. Now there are several other subjects. For example, in 1st semester, there are 2 Open electives (one will get option to choose), Indian Knowledge System, Universal Human Values, Environmental Studies, Skill Enhancement and Vocational Course (I got subjects of Psychology in 1st sem and subjects of Philosophy in 2nd sem for skill enhancement & vocational course). Then there is end semester exam for main subjects it is of 60 marks and other subjects are of 30 marks. There are presentation and assignments too. Overall the main subject (for me Psychology and Philosophy they are of 100 marks in total) and other subjects (i.e. open elective and all are of 50 marks in total) the marking scheme and subjects differ across streams and course. In addition, there is an entrance exam for BMM course, which is compulsory to give for the course, and only 60 students are selected because only 60 seats are available in the course.

The fee for my course is Rs. 13,000 only for 1st year as my course is aided course whereas course like BAF & BMM have much higher fee (like BMM course fees is around Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 70,000 for a year). I don't know about any discount. However, yes EWS category might get any discount.Read Full Review
