NIT Kurukshetra Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The infrastructure of National Institute of Technology is damn good. It involves good quality roads, no water logging during the rainy season. The benches of the classes need to be improved as they are not comfortable for long sittings. This needs a lot of improvement. Academic facilities like library are good enough and well equipped and air conditioner. Canteen there is no canteen only a non-governmental cafe exists which is not that much good and sports faculty is there which involves a large sports complex. Classrooms are well air conditioned and spacious.

The campus life of National Institute of Technology is bit disorganized, one needs to compromise with that in many aspects like there is no famous eateries or outlets in the campus. There are numerous clubs in the Institute but they are not generally given funds so seniors donate a lot for the welfare of these clubs. The Institute crowd consists of people from every community. Infrastructure is quite good. It is full of greenery and serenity. A large sports ground is available with all sports facilities. Institute has large buildings with good accommodation. Overall the campus is worth wandering. Campus has a pond and an eco track which you can visit to have some relief amid hectic schedule. Institute has open air theatre where several events are held.

Campus Life is awesome with nice fest named Confluence (cultural fest) and Techspardha (technical fest). Clubs and societies are active here. Crowd is awesome and engaging. Some activities are happening every now and then. You will love your stay in the campus. Campus is completely free from any kind of ragging. There is a Golden Jubilee hall, which is the academic block of collage. In addition, their building structure is earthquake proof. Campus size is around 290 acres. The campus contains library, a small auditorium called Jubilee Hall, and a Senate Hall, which is the conference hall. This institute is situated in rural area of kurukshetra called thanesar. Classrooms have blackboard, smart board and a projector in every classroom there is a lecture hall in institute. There are around 1,100 seats for B.Tech students and 500 seats for M.Tech students. The institute has 3 canteens, 1 sports complex, and 1 swimming pool. For transportation, there are E-Rickshaw facilities. Security is very tight. The institute even has a small lake called NIT lake, which I like most.

Overall campus life is fantastic. The nightlife in campus is also very good. The crowd is very good but some bad students are also there. There are many clubs for different course students. Like for Mechanical students, MECHSOC is a Technical Society and for other courses, there are other such societies. I am the part of Bus Club of collage. There are mainly two fests of NIT Kurukshetra. One is ‘Confluence’ and other is ‘Techspardha’. It is the tech fest of our institute.
