NIT Kurukshetra Faculty Profile

Faculty members of National Institute of Technology are well qualified even the assistant professors are so highly qualified and teach every concept in a deep knowledge. They generally teach us using the green board but some of the professors prefer to teach via PPT or smart board as well. It depends on professor to professor. The teacher student ration in the Institute is poor and it needs improvement. The vacancy in the Institute is filled by guest teachers. All faculties are well qualified and helpful. You can approach them and seek guidance. Overall they will help and tell you what to do. But they lack enthusiasm in classroom or you can say you will feel bored. Overall they will push you to work hard. Some of them are jolly in nature while some are strict and unnecessarily serious. All faculties are PhD holders; some are from IITs and some are from different NITs. All are experts in their field. They teach according to requirement of subject, if the subject requires animation, then they use smart boards otherwise blackboards. Some teachers of theory subjects also teach using smart boards with the help of PPTs. The problem solving ability of teachers is good. Teacher to student ratio of my institute is 1:15 that was very bad. My bonding with teachers is not very good but if you required any help from them, they help you.Read Full Review
