Hostels are well spaced and decent but quite old fashioned. But they have all the necessary facilities for the students. Mess food is of decent quality and eatable. Menu is maintained by students themselves. Infrastructure is good. Institute has a well spaced and equipped library.Read Full Review

NIT Kurukshetra has its hostels, around 11 boys’ hostels and 4 girls’ hostels. There are total of around 5,300 – 5,500 students in it. All hostels are good in infrastructure and all have water and electricity. It also have basic thing like furniture etc. Mess food is good. Hostel fee is included in institute fee but you have to pay 30k per semester for mess food that is given 3 times a day. No timing is there for hostel for boys but a timing of 8:30PM is there for girls. No smoking, no drinking are some rules of hostel. Meat and meat related product are not allowed here. The quality of the rooms can be worked upon, as they were very small and unhygienic.Read Full Review
