Hostels are basic but okay. The hostel fee is around Rs. 20,000/- for freshers, and mess fee is Rs. 100/- per day. There is also a one-time hostel admission and registration fee. Rooms have beds and fans, but cleaning is sometimes not up to the mark. Mess food is average, but maximum times it is good. Staff and warden are helpful, and overall hostel is good but food and cleanliness can improve.Read Full Review

Yes, the DEC Dumka provides separate hostel facilities to both male and female students. The students of the boys hostel have good life and Badminton court as well. The mess provides good quality of food to the students. The hostel has some strict rules but till now my experience in the hostel is quite good.Read Full Review
