The Saveetha University (SIMATS), Chennai provides hostel facilities for both male and female students separately. The hostels are equipped with required modern facilities to provide a home like environment to the hostellers and to enhance their overall experience. 

At Saveetha University, the hostels have several room options such as deluxe, superdeluxe, ultra-super deluxe, and suite to offer a luxurious hostel life to the students. Some of the rooms of the hostels are available in single, double, triple, quadruple, and octuplet sharing basis. The Saveetha University hostel fees (for both boys and girls’ accommodations) is between Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/-.

The Saveetha University Chennai hostel fees differ as per the chosen occupancy type. Some of the occupancies are exclusively available in only girls’ hostels which include triple, single suite, super deluxe quadruple, and deluxe quadruple sharing rooms. Note: Ultra super deluxe double, super deluxe quadruple, and deluxe quadruple sharing rooms have the same facilities as above-mentioned for the single rooms. Furthermore, deluxe quadruple and deluxe octuplet sharing rooms facilities are similar as super deluxe quadruple occupancies rooms ones. However, they also have some additional amenities which afore-stated in the table.

To maintain the discipline in the hostels of Saveetha University Campus, certain rules and regulations have been made for the students. If any of these rules are violated by the hostellers, then strict actions will be taken against them by the respective authorities.

• Enrollment of students in the hostels is valid till the completion of the academic year; until and unless they are expelled from the hostels because of any disciplinary action.
• The hostellers must return back to their hostels before the timings which are 8:00 PM for girls and 10:00 PM for boys.
• Visitors can meet the students residing in hostels till 8:00 PM. However, the relaxation in timings can be done in special cases by taking prior permission from the respective authorities of the hostels.
• The hostellers cannot organise any parties / meetings / secret activities in the hostel premises.
• In the hostel rooms, students cannot use any electrical appliances such as heaters, induction stoves, microwaves, etc.
• Hostellers are not allowed to keep any valuable items with them. The hostel authorities will not be responsible for the loss of such items.
• Hostel residents must switch off the lights and fans before leaving the room.
