Asutosh College

A Placement Cell is available at the Ashutosh College which shapes the career of the students by providing adequate counseling to the students. Moreover, the cell has built a strong network with reputed companies in order to invite them for the Asutosh College Placement drives so that they can offer job opportunities to the students.

The Asutosh College Campus has state-of-the-art infrastructure & facilities are available to enhance the overall experience of the students. Additionally, the College has built some lecture halls including ‘Acharya J. C. Bose Memorial Lecture Hall’ & ‘Acharya P. C. Ray Memorial Lecture Hall’ along with several classrooms equipped with LCD projectors, internet services, etc.

• Library: The college has an automated central and several seminar libraries in some of the departments. Thousands of books, documentary films, audiobooks, braille books, and other educational resources are available in the College library.
  Moreover, there is an e-library where a wide range of online resources are available. Furthermore, the library has a study room.
• Laboratories: Multiple computer laboratories are available in some of the departments of the College to improve the technical skills of the students. Moreover, several fully-equipped laboratories are there in few departments like Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Botany, etc. with adequate facilities.

• Auditorium: The College has their own auditorium which is used to organise educational and cultural programs.
• Canteen: A canteen with a seating capacity of 100 students is available in the College premises to provide a diverse range of food and beverages options in several cuisines like Indian, Chinese, and Continental.
• Hostels: The Asutosh College Hostels are available separately for both boys’ and girls’ in the second campus of the College. Moreover, adequate facilities are offered to the hostellers in the hostel premises to provide a comfortable stay like rooms, gym, common room, etc.
• Sports: The College encourages the students to participate in the Inter-College and State level competition organised at its own ground named as ‘Kolkata Maidan’. A Common room is there at the campus for the indoor games. Moreover, students can play several outdoor games at the Asutosh College Kolkata campus such as Cricket, Football, Hockey, Basketball, etc. Furthermore, a ‘Syamaprasad Gymnasium’ is available at the College campus to ensure that students remain physically and mentally fit.
• Medical Facilities: Within the campus of the Ashutosh Mukherjee College, a ‘Health Care Unit’ is set up to provide immediate medical assistance to the students.
