I choose ISE (Information Science and Engineering) because it is more related to software development and implementation and more of industry exposure also not much different than CSE. Also you get this course at slightly decent rank than what it takes for CSE. You can sit for COMEDK / KCET / Management as well. for merit just give exam and score decent marks then sit for counselling you will get it by 22-25k depending upon the cutoff for that yearend then just go and report to CMR Institute of Technology with all necessary documents. Per sem you will have 2 internals and at the end of each sem there will be external and is same for every other course. Academics help you in really good way to prepare for real life challenges, like how to deal with work pressure and how to take right decision at right time. All these really help you to tackle real life challenges.

For general merit based (COMEDK): tuition fee = Rs. 2, 61,477, institute fee = Rs. 20,000, lab skill fee = Rs. 20,000, university fee = Rs. 12,110, application fee = Rs. 1,000 and other fee = Rs. 3,000. The My branch is BE (AIDS). My overall experience in this institute I would say is average. This institute is ranked above top 7 of private institutes in Bangalore. I got this institute unexpectedly as the cutoff of this institute went very high as the number of seats is increased. Students can also get admission through COMEDK, KCET exams & Management Quota. To get admission, you have to sit in KEA/COMEDK counseling. We have 2 internal assessment exams with weightage of 50% and 1 external exam with 50% weightage. The institute follows VTU curriculum. It is autonomous institute but affiliated to VTU. The academics are hectic here as VTU has many subjects. In addition, the external exam timetable does not have sufficient study leave. It becomes very difficult at exam times.

The yearly fee through COMEDK is Rs. 3,16,087. Total fee is Rs. 12, 64,348, in which Rs. 34,000 additional fee is included of tuition, lab, facilities, etc. Rs. 36,000 is for Non-Karnataka Students. No scholarship is available for general.Read Full Review

I have taken bachelor of engineering in information science and engineering at CMR Institute of Technology. It is a computer science domain branch with accordance to today's situation I have taken this branch. Students can take admissions through COMEDK, KCET or management. Cutoff for CS related branches is around 23k to 55k in COMEDK. Two internal exams take place every semester and one external exam. The internal exam has a weight age of 50 percent and the externals weighs 50 percent of total grade.

The fees paid at CMR Institute of Technology are according to the mode of admission, through COMEDK the yearly fees is around Rs. 3,20,000 and through KCET it’s around Rs. 1,20,000.
