Branches play a major role at NMIT and one should choose wisely. I hope I can make your work easy because I am a recent pass out and CS, E&C, and IS (Information Science) are the three branches of the University that stands out. The other branches from what I know hardly have any placements and have only hampered the reputation of the college. The college has a blend of mix and youth in the faculty. PGCET, GATE, or K-MAT entrance is the admission criteria at NMIT. The marks are showered even on average students and average students also end up getting a 7-8 GPA at NMIT. This is just about the CSE PG that I am talking about the rest branches may have different criteria or the scoring process.
