The Vivekananda Global University campus has been developed on a land of around 30.7 acres. The campus has several blocks like ‘Academic’, ‘Technology’, ‘Administrative’, and others for different purposes.
ICT enabled lecture theatres & tutorial rooms, seminar halls, auditoriums, sports, hostels, medical, and gymnasium are some of the academic & non-academic amenities which students get at the campus of the Vivekananda Global University.

Academic Amenities
Inside the VGU Jaipur campus, several classrooms, around 110 lecture theatres & 26 tutorial rooms with audio-visual facilities like projectors, smart boards, and recording amenities are available to conduct small group sessions to regular classes. The accommodation space in the multiple lecture theatres is about 110 students and tutorial rooms have seating for approximately 35 students.
120-seater multiple seminar halls are present within the University’s campus and mostly all are equipped with advanced technology amenities for conduction of different seminars, conferences, and other activities. Also, an air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity of more than 500 students are present with facilities like digital displays, whiteboards, assistive listening devices, etc.
To conduct other academic sessions, the University houses audio-visual rooms, digital studios, drawing halls, moot court, and other facilities across the several blocks.
Apart from the afore-mentioned academic facilities, students can take advantage of the following amenities:
- Library: Around 2 Knowledge Resource Centres are there at Academic Block and Technology Block, respectively. These places at the University consist of a wide range of academic resources in different disciplines like books, National & International journals, periodicals, magazines, academic publications, and so on.
Students can also access e-resources like e-books, e-journals, and others at the digital library or from any device to provide learning beyond the campus. Departmental library facilities are also made available within the premises for the students.
- Laboratories: The Vivekananda Global University campus has approximately 40 Computer Laboratories with advanced systems, catering to the diverse academic and technical needs of the students.
A number of faculties have been formed by the University like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmaceutical Science & Nursing, etc. and each one has their own laboratories with advanced equipment to conduct practicals. Some of the labs include Chemistry Labs, Botany & Zoology Labs, Business Labs, Media Labs, and so on.
Non-Academic Amenities
To provide excellent experience beyond the classrooms, the Vivekananda Global University campus has several non-academic amenities like a provisional store, stationery shop, parking space, and others.
The details about the other non-academic facilities can be understood from the following points:
- Sports: The University has well-maintained courts to arenas in order to offer excellent sports facilities to the students. The outdoor sports amenities include Basketball Court, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court, Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Kabaddi Ground, and so on. Amenities for indoor games like Chess, Carom, Table Tennis, and others are also available for the students.
- Hostel: Multiple on-campus & off-campus Vivekananda Global University Hostels are available for both male & female students separately. 900+ rooms in multiple occupancies are available in the on-campus hostels of the University.
At the hostels, students get dining facilities with quality meals, Wi-Fi, around the clock security, gym, indoor & outdoor games facilities, housekeeping, and many other amenities.
- Cafeteria: A canteen is present within the Vivekananda Global University campus which offers a variety of food & beverages to the students at nominal prices. Here, around 200 students can sit and enjoy their meals. Along with this, the University has several eateries like ‘Lawrence Café’, ‘House of Feasters’, and ‘Nescafe Campus Café’ which offers multiple cuisines.
- Transportation: The University operates a fleet of buses to provide transportation facilities to the students across the different routes of the city. For emergencies, the VGU Jaipur also owns vans.
- Healthcare Facility: A Medical Aid / Health Centre functions within the University campus and it is managed by a medical professional to facilitate adequate healthcare facilities to the students. Along with this, the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy offers first aid amenities. Around the clock ambulance services in case of medical emergencies are also provided by the University to the students.
- Gymnasium: Developed on a land of around 5000 square feet, an indoor gymnasium with adequate fitness equipment is present for the students to exercise in order to maintain physical fitness. To train students, the University has appointed trainers.
- Banking: Within the Vivekananda Global University campus, an ATM of ‘SBI Bank’ is present for the students to make financial transactions.
More than 25 student clubs are operated within the Vivekananda Global University campus with the objective to motivate students to engage in co-curricular activities and develop holistically.
