VGU Jaipur: Best in Academics and Extracurricular Activities

Overall Rating
I am a student of Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. My experience in this university is good. My reason for choosing this university is that it is famous for everything. It is famous all around the Jaipur due to their promises of placements, their infrastructure, and their faculty. It is also away from my home that’s good for me, as I get to experience the hostel life as well. This university has a balance between academics and extracurricular activities, which is not found in many others. I recommend this to every student who wants both academics and extracurricular activities in their college life.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is Computer Science Engineering in B.Tech because I loved Math and Physics, when I was in school and hence I decided to take this course. I also wanted to learn more about coding and stuff. The criterion to take admission in this university is 60 percent in class 12th boards. The admission process in this university is very easy, as when I came to take admission everything went smoothly. They helped me in every step of the admission process.
The fee for my course is Rs. 1,30,000 per year. There are no discounts as the fee is already low.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of the university are very friendly and supportive. They are good with every student. They help students in every possible way they can. The background of every teacher is good, as every teacher here has done PhD in their respective subjects. The method of teaching depends on the topics and the teachers. Everything is used from time to time such as blackboards, PPTs, group discussions, Excursions, etc. Teachers solve every problem and doubts of the students, whenever they ask. The teacher-student ratio of this university is 1:11, which is quiet impressive. My experience with the faculty members is good.
 

Placement Rating
The main reason to join this university is obviously the placements at the end. The placement rate is good in this university, as I know it is 100 %. The placement cell helps students to teach them about placements, they teach how to interact with company and prepare us really well for the interviews. The placement related activities are done by placement cells. The renowned companies that I know have visited this university for recruitment are Infosys, TCS, JK Group, and many more. The average package offered by companies is 7 LPA to 12 LPA and the highest package of recent placement drive was 47 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The university offers hostel facilities. Hostels have pretty decent facilities. More than half of the students in this university are hostellers, as they are the students from other states. The hostel for boys and girls are separate for safety purposes. The hostlers get the food in the mess. The quality of mess food is impressive, as it is tastes good and is fresh. They provide 4 meals per day like breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is what attracts the students here. Campus is really beautiful. The size of the campus is around 40 acres and is situated in Jaipur. The classrooms of this university are good and are fully air conditioned. There are projectors in classrooms for PPTs and video studies. There are whiteboard for numerical solving subjects like Math and Physics. There are fully air conditioned facilities like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, and conference hall. If you are hungry than there is a canteen, where you can pay and eat whatever you want.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus experience is going well, as I am enjoying, studying, and making many friends. Although the university has a huge crowd but it doesn’t matter much because the campus is very big. There are clubs for sports, dance, music, and other extracurricular activities. There are fests in this university. Every fest and event is a huge one. Everybody enjoys it. My campus life is going good, as I have got many friends and I am doing well in studies.

    Overall, my university is good. As it is a private engineering university, it doesn’t have perks of NITs and IITs. However, I really am enjoying my life in this university.     Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur. The University relies in outer section of Jaipur, with 6,000 to 8,000 of daily student walk-ins. I'm a student of Journalism and Mass Communication Department, 4th Semester. This university and my department gave me many opportunities I've excelled in.
