Overall, my university is good. As it is a private engineering university, it doesn’t have perks of NITs and IITs. However, I really am enjoying my life in this university. The main thing that made me choose this university that it is in Jaipur that is a very good city with many outstanding opportunities. Even the university has many outstanding things. It also has many degree programs, which makes this university more versatile.

Talking about academics and the eligibility criteria, one should have minimum 75% in their 12th class along with a decent rank in JEE Advanced. One can also get admission through management quota. Admission process is quite easy, as one has to apply for the degree program from the university website and come to the university for counseling. In the end, students have to go through the documents verification. Frequency of exams is quite similar to other universities. There are 5 exams held in each year, 4 mid-term and 1 end-term.

The yearly tuition fee of this university is Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 67,000 that is quite affordable and reasonable.

Faculty of this university is not up to the mark. Teacher to student ratio can be upgraded because there are 30 students per one tutor. Though there is a good relationship between faculty and students. Faculties are so approachable for the students.

Highest package offered in the academic year 2023-2024 was 46 LPA, indicating the quality of placements.

Now speaking of hostels, they are very good offering 3-seater rooms for 1st year students. Mess food is also decent and manageable.

Talking about infrastructure, VGU Jaipur has a newly built campus and the size is compact. It can be said that the size is decent for studying and exploring. There is a central canteen in university along with a central park, which has, ample of sitting space. Students can utilize this space to get some fresh air. The transport facilities from the university are very good. Jaipur Railway station is 19 KM away from the university and students can reach there through different public transports like auto and local buses. There are many sports facilities in the university with gym arena. There is central library in university that has good number of books and students can access any time.

Campus life of this university is very good as it lies at the heart of Jaipur. There are many clubs in university that students can join and boost up their extracurricular activities. Every year in university, Fresher’s party is also organized by the seniors for new comers. Every year, an annual fest is also held in the university for all the students.
