Usha Mittal Institute of Technology B.Tech Fees Structure 2026 & Admission Process, Mumbai

I took up Computer Engineering because of my interest in Coding and Technology. Admission was based on MHT-CET followed by basic document verification. We have exams every semester along with internal assessments and viva, so the Institute keeps a pretty close eye on how we are doing. The teaching is quite fast in almost every subject. Labs for major subjects are there. They also offer Minor degree of 6 semesters along with Major degree with eligibility criteria of 7 CGPA with no active backlog. The syllabus is decent with subjects like Personality development, Technical communication, Microprocessors & Microcontrollers, Computer Architecture and Organization. They recently started subjects including Cyber Security and Drone Technology. Our Institute follows NEP, so our curriculum is advanced. For example, what seniors study in Semester 6, we are already learning in Semester 5. This is very much helpful for us since Placement drive starts from Semester 5. I feel the academics provide the base, but our personal efforts is what will make us stand out.

The fee structure here is standardized according to government norms for CET-based admissions. The fee mainly includes tuition fee, exam charges and basic academic facilities. UMIT Mumbai has 6 courses including Computer Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. I chose Computer Engineering because I was interested in both hardware and software aspects of Computer Technology. I must say that the syllabus is as per the latest job trends. Also they are following the National Education Policy hence, the curriculum includes diverse subjects for overall growth. We have subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Structures, App development, and Web development which make us job-ready.

The fee structure is also good. They have financial aid programs and scholarship coming from reputed companies. Since it's a girls Institute, there are so many scholarship opportunities coming up throughout the year.Read Full Review

I am from Computer Science branch at UMIT Mumbai. I enrolled because my uncle suggested and as I explored through the various subjects I really got interested in subjects like networking and operating systems. The eligibility was to get 60 to 70+ score in MHTCET.
