Usha Mittal Institute of Technology Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

My overall experience at Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, Mumbai has been fairly decent so far. I got admission here through MHT-CET score and chose this Institute because it was a practical option according to my percentile. Just so you know, this is not a part of Mumbai University. Since this Institute is only for women, the place feels safe and well-run. Parents feel good about sending their daughters here. However, the Institute is extremely strict about attendance, internal tests and deadlines, which sometimes create academic pressure even if students are scoring well academically. The Institute is still developing, so some facilities are a bit basic. On the brighter side, the management arranges seminars, awareness sessions and women empowerment activities. All things considered, it is a good Institute for girls who are serious about studying and want a safe space to learn. But there's still considerable scope for improvement.Read Full Review

I chose Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, Mumbai after hearing so many positive feedbacks about the Institute and this was my best decision so far. The Institute was started in 1997 as a Private Institution. The admission process was so smooth. The Institute has so many student councils which makes the Institute life so interesting as they conduct various events throughout the year. The Institute is located just beside Juhu beach making it a premium location. Also the infrastructure of the Institute was recently renovated and it looks very beautiful now.Read Full Review

The experience throughout has been great, except for the sleepless nights before viva and exams, which is inevitable as an Engineer. One should definitely choose this Institute if you want to stay focused and away from any distractions because this it does offer that kind of environment for you to develop your skills and knowledge. It also provides great placements and if you are consistent, enough in lectures getting a straight 9 pointer is best.Read Full Review
