The Training and Placement Cell of Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, Mumbai is in a growing phase. By fifth semester, Internship drives begin. However, this year only a few companies visited for Internships. The Institute does conduct sessions and encourages participation in women-centric career programs as well as Entrepreneurship programs. Right now, the number of offers and package levels are better than what I expected. while it is not the highest level like top-tier institutes, the opportunities here are definitely at par with good Engineering Institutes in Mumbai. Several reputed companies visit the campus, providing us a better chance of entering a decent company.
