Chitkara University offers several courses to students that define its active role towards the curriculum. Schools operating in the campus include School of Engineering & Technology, Business School, School of Health Sciences, School of Hospitality, and School of Mass Communication. Also, there is the College of Pharmacy, College of Education for Women and Doctoral Courses offered by the University.

• Computer Science Engineering

The program focuses on providing its students an opportunity to develop a solid foundation in Mathematics, Design Methodology of Computing Systems, and Science. For taking admission in the course, candidates should have cleared 12^th with a total of 60% marks in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. The University also conducts JEE Mains entrance exams for students.

• Mechanical Engineering

Mechanical Engineering is a full-time four years course in the field of Engineering related to the working mechanism of machinery and heavy tools. It applies the principles of Material Science and Physics, manufacturing, design, and maintenance of mechanical systems. Students also come across Science & Art of design, formulation, development, and control of systems, including components relating Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Mechanisms, and conversion of energy. Candidates desirous of taking admission in the course must have qualified Class XII with a minimum of 60% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.

• Bachelor of Computer Application

BCA is a full-time three-year course that offers a graduate degree to students who take admission in the course that relates to the basics of computer application. For taking admission in the course, candidates must have a qualification in 12^th from a recognized board with minimum marks specified as per universities requirement.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

MBA is a full-time two years course that offers post graduation degree in the field of management. Its basic purpose is to teach the management and business skills in students. The two-year course bifurcates into four semesters. Students who have a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to take admission in the course.

• B.Pharm

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a full time four years undergraduate program that offers its candidates a chance to make a career as a pharmacist. It comprises of preparation and confirmation of drugs as well as medicines for several numbers of deficiencies and illness.

• M.A. Journalism

Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism is a two-year post-graduate program in Journalism in the field of modern media. The course is for those candidates who have a bachelor degree in Journalism. Admission is granted on the basis of scores gained in the entrance test. The two year divides into two semesters, making it a four-semester system. Students also join internship training in media houses between 2^nd and 3^rd semester for practical experience in Journalism.

The eligibility criteria for taking admission in an MA program in Journalism in Mass communication is a Bachelor degree in Journalism with a minimum of 50% marks.
