There are separate hostels for girls and the boys. The hostels are very large and good. The rooms are available in various occupancies. There are three girls hostels and three boys hostels in IIT Bhubaneswar. There are also highly developed with all the facilities. Even canteens are also present in mostly every hostel. Nescafe and dominos are also present near the hostel only. Both girls and boys hostels are separate from each other. Mess food is good, all is hygienic and acceptable quality. Most of the varieties are present here. Hostel fee is about Rs. 30,000/-. Mess fee is Rs. 18,000/- per semester. You can go out of hostel anytime you want, but after a certain timing, you have to fill your details like exit time and entry time in the register.Read Full Review

There are 3 boys hostel and 3 girl’s hostel and more will be built in phase 3 campus development. First year usually get RHR hostel, which does not look, like a hostel but like a mini hotel room. You get a window, personal balcony, a cupboard, a table, a chair, and students get single rooms from first year. There are around 400 rooms in hostel. 2 washrooms and 1 washing machine are there on each floor. One-semester fees of hostel and mess are Rs. 18,000. Mess food is quite okay. There is a canteen and mini fast food outlet just beside the campus. There are no hostel timings, you can leave and come whenever you want. Overall, it is a fun place.Read Full Review
