Faculty members are supportive and helping in nature. They strictly focus on courses you have taken and they also guide you to choose your elective subjects. Most of the teacher are down to earth and have strict nature. They teach us to solve a problem using multiple methods and also teach us with ways that will help us to solve a problem in comparatively less amount of time. Every faculty member here has their own distinctive style of educating students. Some are extremely stern and uncompromising, while others are much more lenient and forgiving. Almost all faculties here prefer to write on blackboard and they explain specific, hard to visualise concepts using slides or a simulation. Some faculty encourage group discussion to promote class unity and get to know students better while others favor self-learning and problem-solving to better prepare for unfavorable academic hurdles. All being distinguished and established. They aren't so egotistical or prideful that they won't accept any mistakes or flaws. The student professor feedback is extremely dynamic and responsive. Both sides learn from each other. The teacher student ratio of our Institute is very-balanced and reasonable so as to foster a holistic and all encompassing environment between the students and faculty members The professors of my department are though very stern but they are yet extremely approachable and genuinely passionate about the subject. One can always ask doubts and questions at any time of the day. We are also assigned FA (Faculty advisors) from the same department that guide and direct us in the right direction during our stay in Institute.Read Full Review

The teaching professors are highly qualified. Also, you are provided with teachers assistants for one to one doubt clearance. Most of the professor use PPTs to explain the topics and then they provide you with a set of problems, which is then discussed in class by teacher’s assistants the next day. The teacher student ratio including the teachers’ assistants is around 1:30. Faculty members are easily approachable; you can take time slot from the faculty and meet them on the respective time in their offices. Also the problem set discussion is not done with slides; it is done with black boards. Professors also use the black board sometimes to explain the important topic.Read Full Review
