Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University: Admission 2023, Fees, Pune

I was in dilemma as I gave all the entrance exams that are there in this country to do MBA from top universities. Pune was the city I was targeting and luckily got admissions in of the top most B-School of the city. Yes, the city has Symbiosis, and MIT’s but PUMBA if not equivalent is also no less than them. I am still in my 3rd trimester but life has turned upside down as Pune has a whole new approach towards study. The fun element will never be missed here as the university is always full of life and colour. MH-CET is the way to get here and state students have a different cut-off while outsiders have to deal with more challenging cut-offs. I just sneaked through as somebody even after having a required score didn’t join the college. The fees is also reasonable as the kind of placements and facilities that PUMBA provides there’s no harm in paying the fees that they command.Read Full Review

If you want to get involved, you will not find a college better than PUMBA. PUMBA is entirely a student-driven institute. From fests to workshops, students brag maximum rights to do it the way they want. If you compare PUMBA fees with institutes that are similarly ranked or ranked close to PUMBA, there's a much difference. I was qualified to get admissions in Welingkars, but when I compared the fees and all the expenses that I would have to bear, it took me seconds to make up my mind that I would study at PUMBA. One thing that Welingkars has and PUMBA doesn't is a hostel. PUMBA does have a hostel, the university hostel, but with just 20 seats reserved for PUMBA students. Placement wise, PUMBA is good as placements were almost 100%. My answer to PUMBA may sound a little diplomatic, but there are indeed various good things about the institute that I didn't even though twice before taking admissions here. Entrances are mandatory, and PUMBA is a serious college, so one needs to score seriously good to have a seat here. The grass is not green until you clear the GD & PI rounds as the competition is high, and from over 1000 students who appeared for GD & PI, only 180 were selected. The best part of PUMBA is that the fees are quite low and the facilities and, most importantly, the kind of jobs that they provide are exceptional. PUMBA can serve as a decent beginning to a bright career. While choosing a B-School, choosing a brand name is important. PUMBA is probably the second-best name for MBA in Pune after the Symbiosis Institutes. A good brand name's importance can't be ruled out as it plays a crucial role in getting their students placed. So, overall, the institute is among the top 50 institutes of the country, so don’t think one should be critical about this institute.Read Full Review
