RTU is an institute where you will learn how to manage time and maintain a balance between your academic and your hobbies or interests. The campus of RTU is very vast, from academics to resources, they are good in all. As a student you will learn everything in your life here on this campus. As a student of the university department, I know that here you will get better management skills. This institute has been the best institute for B.Tech in Rajasthan because of its rich culture and good academic facilities and faculties in the core departments. The scope in RTU is good and the college also has a good reach with the companies, so the students get placed highly. They have also gotten NBA Accreditation in some departments.

Learning technical is not easy but at RTU the teachers focuses on all the academic topics very closely both in theory and Practical use. We have a number of laboratories, each one specific according to the subject. I loved the labs the most as we could put all the theory we have learned so far to use. I am from the mechanical branch and I loved to work on the lathe machine. There are number of instruments in the labs and all the machines that we needed. I learnt welding, filing, chipping, and everything. Academically, RTU is most known for their mechanical and civil department.

The faculty members of our college of every department are helpful and good. We had interaction with almost all the teachers of other departments as well in the first year of our college as we had to study basics of every field. The teachers have helped us at every stage whether it is to learn the academics theory or to use machines and our imagination to do projects. Our mechanical department teachers have been always been available for us throughout college. We have done major projects in our 2nd and 3rd both years because the teachers supported our ideas and also helped us to go to other colleges with our projects to take part into competitions. The faculty has always been supportive. They even came in the days when we were working on our projects to see how far we have gone and what else needs to be done. They have always guided us in the right direction. I was in the designing team in our Ecokart project and the Rana sir, Chaturvedi sir, they have guided our design and the material team best. We were the second team in the history of the college to design and construct an Ecokart project, unfortunately we did not win but with the help of the teachers we went so far that we taught our juniors how to do better and with their hard work and our guidance along with the teachers, they won an Ecokart series.

The Placement Cell of RTU is always active and they always try that every student gets placed. Many companies come for interviews, but the process is hard and has a number of stages. Not everyone gets placed but the Placement Cell gives their full support to every student.

The hostels are old as the buildings are very old as well. Two new hostels are made in the last five years. The hostel facilities are okay. The rooms are good and they all have windows, the timings are good as well. Only the food is not that best, obviously.

The infrastructure of RTU is good and it is going to be better. RTU is vast and is developing. I am passed out of the college but it’s nearby my house and So I know there are many departments which are refurnishing and renovating. Also there are many new buildings on their way to be completed soon. Our college has a building for every department. We have a separate building exam hall, a Lecture attending hall where all the workshops and seminars are held, another building for the examination department, and a MBA building. There is a garden in front of the library. And the library, it is huge and beautiful. They have a lot of books available in the library. There is a Placement Cell, a bank and post office all inside the campus. The hostels, and canteen as well as the GYM and playgrounds for basketball, volleyball, badminton, cricket, etc. is available. Everything is in perfect condition and is very well maintained. There is also a medicinal department inside the campus where the students go if they get hurt or ill. RTU also have a number of laboratories.

The Campus life on RTU is always exciting. The college never sleeps. There are meets and workshops, technical and cultural fests, clubs, and get together always going around the campus. There is a club for everything in RTU whether it is technical or non-technical. In technical we have the robotics club the automobiles club, the aerodynamics, the wordsworth, etc. And in non-technical we have the dance club, the Drama club, the games club, etc. The institute holds at least one major technical and non-technical fest every year other than the fresher's and farewell party. The students of the college manage all the activities, the budgets, the management, etc. The life of RTU is never going to be boring. There is always something going on.
