Ravenshaw one of the oldest university Odisha

Overall Rating
Our university is overall very much excellent. I completed my 6 month here and I feel that it is very much good. In every section such as academic, social cultural events, sports, etc. it is good. It is also very good in maintaining a neat and clean environment. There are various types of plants here that give a healthy environment. Our university has a zero discrimination environment on the basis of caste, gender, male, female, and colour. This shows that it has a friendly environment to develop ourselves. Our university acquired A++ in NAAC. It is one of the best universities in Odisha.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing my BA economics honours as I aim to become an economic professor. You can also see professional (BBA, ITM, etc.) as well as regular courses (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, etc.). For application, a student must be secure 70% in his 12th board. Selection is strictly based on mark secured in 12th board. The cut off marks are always higher as many students choose to study here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of our university are very intelligent and they are much specialized in their professional subjects . our university has many departments and each department has about 15 to 20 faculty members including (Professor, Associate Professor, and HOD). Faculty members are so helpful in nature. They are all Ph.D holders and highly qualified, completed various degrees Such as MA, M.Phil, etc. They teach us with giving life related examples. Their teachings style is so inspirational to the students who want to become a professor in future.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have and it's very helpful for the students who have study here. Various departments’ students such as commerce, economics, and science, they get variety of placement offers from various places and different industries. It's helpful for a student get a good job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in our institute. For girls there are six hostels provided and for the boys seven. So there are total 13 hostels in our campus. Hostel is allotted on the basis of mark and cast reservation. Ragging related issues are solved here but in case someone is found he/she is punished. Hostel fees is affordable for everyone. Inter-hostel competition are held in sports, cultural, literally, etc. Every hostel has mess and study room. Sanitisation and cleanliness is maintained in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our university has total 4 gates / entrance. At first a beautiful lawn in front of university. Our university has hostel facility for both boys and girls. Our university provides a big playground, library (Kanika library), cafeteria, ATM facilities, a conventional building, laboratories, e-resource centre, and maintains a good road connection.
 

Campus Rating
The university campus is excellent. It is more realistic than my thoughts. Not only student from different parts of Odisha, but also student from different state, also comes here to pursue their higher education. Ravenshaw is not only known for its academic performance but also co curricular activities and sports achievement.

    Ok, First of all I'm new in Ravenshaw. I'm basically a fresher but I know Ravenshaw very well. First of all please congratulate our college for obtaining A++ from NAAC it was a very proud moment for all the Ravenshawvian.
