Overall Rating
Institute is very beautiful and it is near to my home. Hostel is very good and food is also good. In campus there is a sports ground which has very beautiful view during evening. It feels like heaven.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in NIT Hamirpur you have to clear JEE examination and score well in examination. For computer science you have to score more than 95 percentile in examination. You will also get benefits if you have from reserved category and also on basis of income. Fees of college also depends on category and income that is tuition fee and hostel fees is 25000 per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very good as professor are Ph.D and also they publish many research papers. Recently a society of our college made a car under the guidance of professors. Their style of teaching is different for different professors. The professor who are not much aged like 30-35 have focus on practical work. The professors who are aged have teaching style like old school.
 

Placement Rating
In my institute there is Placement Cell called Training and Placement Cell. As this year placement is ongoing for final year and this is conducted by Training and Placement Cell. Average package is nearly 12 lakh per annum in computer science.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is very beautiful. There is LH where classes are conducted. A SAC building which includes gym, badminton court, and table tennis court. There is various building for various departments. There are two gates for entry in college. First gate entry then first temple come and after that girls hostel and then cafes.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is good. Various clubs are running in campus. In a year two fests are happen in college first is cultural that is hillfair and other is nimbus that is techfest. There are two types of clubs technical and cultural. Technical clubs active during technical fest and cultural clubs active during cultural fest. There are various societies of various departments that are active whole year.

    My overall experience was good. This Institute is surrounded by the mountains which gives beautiful campus scenarios. All placement records are good. Our faculties are good too, they treat students properly. There is no misbehavior reported by the students too.     In terms of infrastructure and architecture, my college resides on the top portion of our country. NIT Hamirpur is situated on a hill top of district Hamirpur and surrounded by a forest with old classically built building. The second thing which I like most in my college is the helping nature of the seniors and facilities towards the juniors.
