Overall Rating
My overall experience in this university is quite good. It comes under top government engineering college of Odisha. The infrastructure of this college is very good. It has a very good alumni network. It has very good sports facilities. The college has its swimming pool. There are many clubs which helps us developing our skills.
 

Academics Rating
The courses offered by VSSUT include B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, BCA, MCA, etc. You can enter into CSE branch with 65000 rank in JEE mains and in production branch with around 350000 ranks in JEE mains. The cut-off also goes down for reserved categories students. You can enter into this college through an OJEE counselling process which is notified in the OJEE website.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are highly qualified and specialised in their field. They came from the renowned Institutes of India. Many of them are also IITian. They are very much experienced and make it easy for students to understand the concept very well. They usually complete the courses on time and provide precise notes of the topic.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities in this college are very good. It is very good especially for the core branches like mechanical and electrical which gives around 95 to 100% of placement with an average of 6 lakhs per annum. It has a separate Placement Cell building. More than 80 companies come in the campus for recruitment.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, it has around 13 hostel including boys and girls’ hostel. Hostels are equipped with 24 hour water and electric supply. It also has the washing machine facility. Minimum accommodation for each hostel is around 500 people. Mess food is normal not very good not very bad.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is very good. It has separate buildings for different departments. Good and big laboratory equipped with modern machines and old machines are also present. An E-learning centre, auditorium, academic building, placement cell, and library are built. There is greenery all around the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is very good. You can explore a lot of things during your college life. There are many clubs in our college which will help you to develop your skills in whichever field you are interested. It has two main fest which is samavesh, technical fest and vassaunt, cultural fest. A sports fest is also conducted every year known as illumine. Many unofficial events for hostellers are also conducted.

    In terms of money it's awesome. Faculties are doing well. Campus life will be memorable. Many view points are also nearby. Mess food is better. You have to adjust yourself according to routine. In terms of placements, core branch have better opportunity than CSE. Many food stalls are also available along the college sides.
