Review of International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar

Overall Rating
Overall, this college has both advantages and disadvantages. It has a partially good infrastructure and good teachers. It has a partially well college life but in the end, you will enjoy every part of it. It is not like IITs or NITs so it can’t be compared to them but I expected the campus area to be bigger.
 

Academics Rating
The institute has 3 main courses; B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in B.Tech. There are five branches available; computer science engineering, information technology, computer engineering, electronics and telecommunication, and electrical engineering. As the name suggests, the college is mainly for coding branches but it has electrical branches too. Students come to this college by giving entrance exams like JEE Mains and the qualifying cutoff is around 94 percentile.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are pretty average. Some teachers are actually great and know their respective subjects very well, and have specialisations in their subjects but some have less experience. Here, you have to learn everything on your own. You have to be consistent with your work.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell. Recently the institute has signed a MOU with ISI (Indian Standards Institute). Also, the institute is trying their best to come up with better companies for placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facility in our institute. There are 8 blocks which are allotted to students. It has also 2 blocks for M.Tech and Ph.D students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic block is all in one where many events happen. It has AC facilities in some rooms and mostly, the classes are in non AC rooms. But as you go to succeeding semesters you will eventually get an AC class. It has hostel accommodation and it has playgrounds for cricket and football in one ground. There is a badminton court inside the hostel, table tennis, chess, carrom, and a gym. Also, there are GC (gaming championships).
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good here. You have your classes from about 9:30 AM to 4:30/5:30, mostly in 1st year the schedule is quite hectic but you may also have many free periods. Many students come from all over India and experience the diversity in culture. It has many fests but one of the most important fests is called as Advaita which is a tech-cultural fest and it goes for 3-4 days. Arman Malik was the main attraction this time in Advaita’24. Many tech competitions happen like hackthons, coding competitions, etc. where you could up skill yourself and enjoy your time.

    The campus environment at International Institute of Information Technology is pollution free with greenery everywhere. The faculty is highly qualified and the campus life is just amazing.     International Institute of Information Technology is a government institute which provides excellent academic and non-academic facilities to the students. It is far better than any private college. The faculties and hostel facilities at the institute are good. Students are provided brilliant placement opportunities at the institute.
