Overall Rating
This is a popular central university. It is a prestigious college and provides good knowledge, and there are lots of extracurricular activities in the college which shape the overall personality of a person. All the professors are well educated and they teach us very well. Besides the syllabus, what we study covers 70 percent of the UPSC syllabus.
 

Academics Rating
All the professors are well educated and they teach very well. Besides the social science course, the syllabus covers almost seventy percent of the UPSC syllabus. They also develop the overall qualities of an officer. For taking admission in the social science course, one will have to give CUET and will have to give the general and language test. For science, you have to only give the exam of the subjects you studied in class 12th. It is a prestigious college.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are good. They are well educated and cooperative, as well. They teach us so well and make us understand everything. But due to lack of time, they teach fast. During our time, the admission process was delayed and it naturally shortened our semester time period and hence, we had really very less time to complete our syllabus. Besides that, all the things are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell. It makes students independent.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has residential facility. But the hostel is not allotted to everyone. The hostel is given only to those who score good marks.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good and enhanced with natural beauty. There is a separate building for each and every faculty. The academic blocks are too good. Different blocks for each subject have different faculty. We have also access of two different libraries and health centers, as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is too good, especially MMV which is safe and secure for girls. The crowd is also rich in diversity. There are lots of clubs for activities. There are various extracurricular activities organised on a regular basis. Various workshops also give good exposure to the students.

    BHU Varanasi is a very reputed University with good ranking and has a very good environment. There are a lot of facilities available for students such as free bus services, free health check up and even free medicines for students at health centres by using their health card.     I am from Banaras, so choosing Banaras Hindu University Varanasi came out as a great option for me. All the things here fascinate me like the green and the peaceful environment. Moreover, the central library here is 24/7 open and has numbers of books. Students come here from all over India and some from even different countries like Nepal and Bangladesh.     One of the factors that made me choose BHU Varanasi is its well-known central library, which provides lots of books as well as high seating capacity for the students to study. Another factor is its affordability and the reputation it holds.
