Overall Rating
Dayananda Sagar University is overall an average college. It provides you basic facilities within the college. This college is located in a very remote location where you won’t be able to find even a stationary shop within 5km. I choose this college because of its placements. Until 2022 this college provided good placements, but due to recession half of the batch has still not been placed. You should definitely try this college as the placements and teachers good. The infrastructure and sports facilities are good too.
 

Academics Rating
This college provides various courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, Journalism, Law etc. For admission in B.Tech you can get through COMEDK, KCET or by giving their own admission test, DSAT. Direct admission is also available. The eligibility is to obtain more than 65% marks in PCM for B.Tech. If your motive is to get a good placement, then you should join this college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is very supportive. You can talk to them about anything and they will help you figure out your problem. They also give you attendance if you’re short by 10-15%. They won't detain you. If you ask politely they will even increase your marks! The faculty teaches in either English or Hindi, and teaches using real life examples. They give small assignments which are easy to solve. They won't pressurize you for anything. Their style of teaching is very good and modern. The faculties are very frank with their students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this college does have a placement cell. They provide good guidance and training for placements. The placement cell does events like HR Conclave and Talks with Industry Experts to let students know what companies wants from them.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are very expensive, you have to pay two lakhs and five thousand for quadruple sharing rooms. They will provide you all facilities like 3 times meals, laundry services, room cleaning and good security. They even celebrate festivals in the hostel. There is a gym and a lake to chill and sit. The hostel conducts regular events like bonfire, DJ night and many more.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good. The campus is too big. Currently, the college has 3 blocks; 1 for engineering, 1 medical and 1 hospital. We have libraries in all 3 blocks where you can issue books. The campus is good. It has 3 cafeterias and 1 café, which provides you almost every food and snack available.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is very average as the college is located in a remote location. You’ll have nothing here to enjoy, even for good food you have to go to all the way to Bengaluru. Apart from this, everything is good. The crowd is very nice. There are events every week. Here, the clubs are very active. The college organises 2 fests. 1 fest is conducted in every semester, in which famous personalities are invited.

    Dayananda Sagar University is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore, with various courses, starting from Artificial Intelligence &Machine Learning to Mechanical Engineering. The University also offers courses in MBBS, Pharma and Physiotherapy, and also Nursing.     I chose this university because it has a very good teaching faculty and infrastructure like those of European buildings.     The University provides a decent learning environment for electronics and communication engineering (ECE) students. As I am a part of B-Tech program. To score well academic performances important but building good relationships with professors can be beneficial.     The college has a decent environment of learning for Aerospace engineering students as I am a part of B.Tech aerospace. Honestly, to score well you must be good with professors. You need to be good with Academics but a good relation with professor’s helps a lot. The University provides a lot of opportunities to grow.
