DSU Bangalore Admissions: Eligibility, Process, and Exams

Dayananda Sagar University usually called as DSU. It is famous for Bachelor of Technology as well as medical courses also. The university has medical college and hospital also in the same area. Dayananda Sagar University infrastructure is very good and classic. DSU is meant for the good placements in the Karnataka. Individual focus will be there in academics. So, everyone has equality in improving their skills this is the main reason to choose this university. Every time the test will be conducted by the university and the results will be sent to the parents about our performance which we can't see in many B.Tech colleges.

I have taken the Computer Science along with the Data Science as it is current trend. Eligibility is simple, 60% in the board is enough to take admission in this university. Along with that you have to crack the KCET exam or COMEDK. If you are not having good scores in these exams then you can take the DSAT exam, which is the university entrance exam. Exams will be conducted monthly once or one in half a month.

I have joined the university through DSAT exam. Tuition fee should be paid yearly. Tuition fee – Rs. 4, 25,000, through the DSAT exam concession was given for me. So, my fee is Rs. 3,54,000 along with all the registration, admission, and exam fee. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,80,000 for the 4 students in 1 room and Rs. 2, 10,000 for 3 students in 1 room. Government Scholarships will be available if we meet the eligibility criteria.

I can't tell totally good or bad faculty both types are there. But however we can take the help of other faculties and library books if needed in depth. Faculties here have mostly done their Ph.D in the respective subjects. Method of teaching varies depending upon the subject. If it is theory subject then ppt was used most, if it is problematic subject then blackboard was used most. Faculties are able to solve the problems that we ask. Faculties are friendly and so doubts can be asked freely they won't mind in telling again and again.

Campus life at Dayananda Sagar University will be too good. Especially, the infrastructure will be like IT industry level. All facilities like discussion rooms, study rooms, auditoriums, rest rooms will be available in the academics. Dayananda Sagar University is located in 132 acres. Hospital, Medical college, and engineering college are there in the campus. Classroom has strength of 60 members. Labs, library, seminar hall, auditorium, conference halls, etc. are available here. Metro, buses, auto will be available near the campus. I like the architecture of the campus which very unique. Everything is good at Dayananda Sagar University.

Overall campus life at the Dayananda Sagar University is good. Crowd will be too much in the campus at the opening and closing time and even in the lunch time. Just like other universities Dayananda Sagar University also have a dance club, singing club, NCC, NSS, etc. clubs. But to be part of these we have to pay the money. I am not part of any club. Extracurricular activities are given equal priority in the Dayananda Sagar University. For every festival the programs will be conducted here. Freshers day, Cascades, and Tharanga like events will be conducted here on a regular basis.
