Competent studies and infrastructure at DSU

Overall Rating
I chose this university because it has a very good teaching faculty and infrastructure like those of European buildings. Top notch facilities are provided by the university, and it has well equipped labs and library where students can study in a good environment. It has an area of about 150+ acres.
 

Academics Rating
The University provides many courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBBS, BBA, etc. B.Tech has the following specialisations: Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, AI and ML Engineering, Cyber Security Engineering and Computer Technology Engineering. The university gives admission on the basis of marks in entrance exam called DSAT and students can join by qualifying KCET and COMEDK exam as well.
 

Faculty Rating
All the teachers have degrees from IITs, NITs, and IISc Bangalore, with very good research background and they have many ongoing Government projects; in my opinion teachers are very good at teaching with practical and theoretical knowledge. They have projects deals with students also.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the University. Every year, around 89% students are places in core and non-core jobs with average salary up to 8 LPA and highest 35 LPA in abroad.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, university has hotel facility for more than thousands of students for all the courses.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University has many blocks for Engineering and Medical departments. It has a hospital as well. We have practical labs building for Engineering and other blocks for various courses like Nursing, MBBS, BBA, MBA, etc. University does have a many cafeteria and cafes on campus itself, and has a very big playground.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. As I mentioned before, it has students from other countries, so we have the privilege to interact with people from diverse culture and regions and build our knowledge. We have many clubs including sports and cultural clubs. Many Hackathons and marathons are organised including skill enhancement courses for us to gain more knowledge.

    Dayananda Sagar University is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore, with various courses, starting from Artificial Intelligence &Machine Learning to Mechanical Engineering. The University also offers courses in MBBS, Pharma and Physiotherapy, and also Nursing.     It was actually a very good experience. I don't regret my decision of choosing DSU Bangalore for my UG degree. The University offers a very good teaching staff but the students should not solely depend on the lectures and should also work hard on their part.     The University provides a decent learning environment for electronics and communication engineering (ECE) students. As I am a part of B-Tech program. To score well academic performances important but building good relationships with professors can be beneficial.   • Well balanced college, will definitely make a big change in your life

    The college has a decent environment of learning for Aerospace engineering students as I am a part of B.Tech aerospace. Honestly, to score well you must be good with professors. You need to be good with Academics but a good relation with professor’s helps a lot. The University provides a lot of opportunities to grow.
