The Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore has 2 hostels; one at the campus for only female students and the other one is S’ Residences with a capacity of around 8000 students which is managed by ‘My Poshtell’ to accommodate both boys’ and girls’ students.

At the hostels of Dayananda Sagar University, adequate facilities are available for students’ holistic development and growth. The hostel rooms are available on multiple occupancies i.e., double, triple, and quadruple. The Dayananda Sagar University hostel fees range from Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 1,54,000/-, annually.

The Dayananda Sagar University hostel fee differs according to the occupancy type of the rooms and on the gender of the students. The hostel fees once paid will not be refunded, returned, or transferred at any given circumstances. Moreover, cash will not be accepted as a fees payment.

* Students should note that it is mandatory to pay the mess fees of Rs. 88,200/- with the hostel fees at the time of enrollment into any of the hostels. Moreover, the above given fees of the hostel include a refundable caution deposit of Rs. 10,000/-.

• Ragging is a punishable and non-bailable offence. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited within the hostel premises.
• Smoking or use of any kind of drugs & narcotics are strictly banned within the hostels. If any student is caught indulging in such activities they will be expelled from the residential facility.
• The gate closing time of the hostel is 11:00 PM. Students should avoid staying outside of the hostel after the informed time without prior permission from the respective authorities / wardens.
• At the hostel premises, students should avoid making loud noises and should maintain silence from 11:00 PM to 5:30 AM.
• Destroying or damaging the hostel property will lead to penalties or in worst cases expulsion from the hostel.
• Students are not allowed to interchange their rooms without prior permission from the warden.
• Hostellers are advised not to use any electrical appliances as it may cause damage to the whole electric circuit of the hostel complex.
• Residents of the hostel are not allowed to cook any kind of food inside the hostel rooms.
• Students are expected to adhere to the class and respective mess timings while staying in the hostel.

The Dayananda Sagar University Campus provides residential facilities to both boys’ and girls’ students. The semi-furnished rooms of S’ Residences hostel are allotted on double, triple, and quadruple occupancy. In addition, the girls’ hostel at the University has 3 and 4 seater rooms.

Moreover, the hostels have a mess namely S’Square that serves 3 meals a day i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisines. The menu of the mess is designed carefully keeping in mind the diverse food needs of the students.
