Overall Rating
Dayananda Sagar University is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore, with various courses, starting from Artificial Intelligence &Machine Learning to Mechanical Engineering. The University also offers courses in MBBS, Pharma and Physiotherapy, and also Nursing. The in-campus hospital makes it easier for the students who live inside the campus and to get checked during any emergency.
 

Academics Rating
The Cyber Security department is one of the best on the campus, with the coolest faculty ever. The criteria for joining the program was over 80% in 12th grade in any science course (PCMB, PCM, PCME). The KCET cutoff ranges from 50k to 1.7L ranks. The DSAT entrance exam is a private exam conducted by the college itself.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are the best. There is no other way to describe them. Their way of teaching is amazing, with almost every faculty teachers having a Ph.D in their field. Their constant contribution to respective fields with their articles and research papers make it even better to be taught by them.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell conducts evening classes for hostellers in campus from 5:30 to 7:30. They train them to code in Java, which is usually not included in the syllabus of several departments. They also conduct weekend classes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students where they teach how to develop soft skills, which is a vital part in a job interview.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel in campus is run by a private company. The hostel includes a gym, Wi-Fi, 24 hours hot water supply, and 24 hours of electricity. The mess food is too good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is pretty new, but it’s definitely pretty cool. It might be located outside Bangalore but there is nothing here that makes you think "oh Bangalore was better". We have several buildings as of now, and they're constantly building more and more building around. The new buildings can accommodate the Law and Health Sciences students. The sports area has 5 basketball courts, one standard sized football field, and many other games. A sports complex is opening soon.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd is any crowd you can expect from any engineering college in Bangalore. You have the nerds, the specimen troublemakers, and the calm nonchalant people who don’t attend any classes but pass anyway. The clubs include everyone and everything. Fests are conducted every year, but we do have regular events happening hosted by different clubs and these usually happen 2-3 times a week.

    I chose this university because it has a very good teaching faculty and infrastructure like those of European buildings.     It was actually a very good experience. I don't regret my decision of choosing DSU Bangalore for my UG degree. The University offers a very good teaching staff but the students should not solely depend on the lectures and should also work hard on their part.     The University provides a decent learning environment for electronics and communication engineering (ECE) students. As I am a part of B-Tech program. To score well academic performances important but building good relationships with professors can be beneficial.     The college has a decent environment of learning for Aerospace engineering students as I am a part of B.Tech aerospace. Honestly, to score well you must be good with professors. You need to be good with Academics but a good relation with professor’s helps a lot. The University provides a lot of opportunities to grow.
