The college has a decent environment of learning for Aerospace engineering students as I am a part of B.Tech aerospace. Honestly, to score well you must be good with professors. You need to be good with Academics but a good relation with professor’s helps a lot. The University provides a lot of opportunities to grow. They have best programs and a Satellite centre that is run by all Ex-ISRO scientists who help you grow in space technology.

Academically, the department, the college provides a lot of opportunities for all types of department. For example, there is an international department that provides exchange programs to a student. Then there is a different club that provides activities other than studies, and talking about academics. There is a lot of research work that is going on under professors and many people like in aerospace department are helped by the professors in work paper presentation and major projects. You get funding as well for your project. It takes quite a lot of time to get funding.

Depending on the department, the strictness varies. The computer science department with its sub departments of data science, artificial intelligence, competitions and technology, computer science engineering, all these have a very strict environment. Although the professors are lenient, but overall the department is very strict. Talking about mechanical department, electronics department and aerospace department since the student quantity is less these departments are comparatively more lenient. The faculties are very approachable in every department except for a few.

Hostels in Harohalli campus are really good but have small rooms. They have hostel by college and hostel by a private company called "S S Residencies". There is a lake nearby the hostel so you enjoy the view of the lake at the evening. Hostel costs around 2 lakhs.

The new Harohalli campus has really good infrastructure, but its far away from the main city land. Hence, either you can opt for hostel, or you have to opt for PG nearby. You have to travel from a lot of distance. College provides buses for traveling from city. The infrastructure in Harrogate campus looks really good.

The college has a chill vibe with a perfect mix of studies and fun. The Harohalli campus and Kumarswamy campus are huge and very green. Harohalli Campus looks straight like some Harry Potter movie. There are tons of active clubs like the photography department. Where students make and direct their own movies. Events happen regularly and the crowd is fun and supportive. If you're into both studies and events, this is the place for you.
