Overall, NIT Delhi is a well balanced college with all the facilities that a student needs in a college. The labs are well equipped, the sports culture is amazing and the teachers are very understanding. The campus area was under construction but still provided all the facilities and in the future it will keep on doing the same. My reason for choosing NIT Delhi is that it was a very fast developing college and it was also near my house, so I didn’t have to deal with the mess food. My advice for other students is if you are dedicated towards your responsibilities and are very clear of your goals, then you are welcome to NIT Delhi.

Academically, the course is well structured. Although, I am a Computer Science student but I have to study some non core subjects which doesn't have any relation with my core subjects and don't add any value in my future according to me. But maybe I will realise the importance of these subjects in my future. My motive for choosing CSE as my core is that CSE is a developing and demanding field. You need to be updating yourself and accepting modern changes; these are some things that excite me because I love to explore new things.

The faculty is good. All the teachers are Ph.D professors, have complete knowledge and lots of experience in their fields. The teachers have also completed their studies from reputed colleges, so they understand what are the challenges we are going through and can guide us accordingly. The teaching methodologies of the teachers are good; they teach us in the way that we can easily understand. They provide extra attention if it is required by the student.

Placements are increasing as the college is improving. The placement stats are very good. The average package of CSE was around 18-19 LPA. The college also provides lots of internship opportunities for every student. The Training and Placement Cell is very experienced and provides equal opportunity for all students.

The hostels are nice. There are 2 hostels in the main campus, 1 girl’s and boy’s hostel. There is another hostel 5km away from the campus, which is for the first year and M.Tech students. A few more hostels are under construction and may be ready by 2025. The hostel provides facilities like a gym and gaming room. Girls need to enter the hostel before 7 p.m.

The infrastructure is under development. There are mainly 2 buildings. There is an admin block and a mini campus in admin block. The department of CSE, Director's office library, the sports section and the ECE civil labs are in mini campus. There are 2 gyms in the campus, one indoor and outdoor gym. The sports ground is also available with 2 volleyball grounds, 4 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts, 1 lawn tennis court and 1 football ground which is also used for cricket. We have 3 canteens in the campus; Nescafe, For You and Tasty Coffee.

The campus life is good. We have lots of clubs in the college which are opened for all. There are cultural events in the college, which are not done at a grand level but we can still enjoy properly. The food stalls at cultural events are the most exciting part. The sports tournament of the college “Zeal” is the best thing according to me. The environment becomes so cool at the time of Zeal. There are some group activities which are assigned academically to improve your network.
