Insights of my college.

Overall Rating
I am a student of the BBA (Bachelor’s of Business Administration) Course in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, GGSIPU. My experience up till now has been pretty decent at the institution. The amount of exposure this college provides through its societies is unbeatable by any other college of the IP University. Plus it is one of the best colleges in IP University for BBA which made me choose this college amongst all the others.
 

Academics Rating
For enrolling in the BBA Program, students are required to give IPU CET. People of general category with around 1500-2000 rank get a seat in the college. I personally enrolled in this program as it gives a wide knowledge of the business world. You may also enroll through CUET but in my opinion IPUCET is a better option.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is average at the most. Some teachers can be rude but some are quite wonderful. They treat you like their children and are quite frank with you. While on the other hand other teachers can be quite strict and intimidating. So all in all it balances out. I wish more of the friendly faculty was appointed.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the college has a placement cell and it does provide its fair share of opportunities for the students. I personally was a part of the placement cell too and they do try their best to get the best of the opportunities for the students but sometimes being a tier 2 college does affects negatively on the placements. The cell provides both, job and internship opportunities. We also have an annual job expo which is the annual campus recruitment drive of our college where various companies interview students in the same campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college does have a hostel but I am not a part of the same due to being a localite. Hence, I am not the right person to review the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is combined with MAIT which is a technical institute. The entire campus has 9 blocks out of which only one is the entire MAIMS. Though another building is under construction which will be a part of the business school. We have around 5 canteens which offer pretty decent food for everyday brunch with your friends. And all the classrooms have at least one or two ACs unlike many other colleges.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life in my opinion is above average. The crowd is pretty average though. There are many societies to join which gives you a great opportunity to explore and learn. Fests are quite regular, small or big. Artists like standup comics, singers, businessmen do come occasionally. This year we had Vivek Samanti, Aashish Solanki and Raftaar in various fests. So overall the campus life is quite fun if you have the best people around you.

    When I first got Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, New Delhi during the counselling round, I was quite doubtful whether it would be the right choice or not. Because honestly, department of Law has recently been established so the question whether there is good alumni base or not.     My overall experience in Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies has been really good. I have met all kinds of people here good, bad, the ones who do not care, and the studious ones too. Which makes the crowd of this Institute kind of cool cause every person brings out the better or worse in you.     Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies is affiliated to GGSIP University and is recognized by Bar Council of India. MAIMS is also an accredited grade A++ by NAAC.
