Review on the Sardar Patel Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
I joined this institute because it had the branch I wanted. It has a great placement record and has highly qualified faculties. The infrastructure is great with sports grounds present to play various sports. Overall, my experience in this institute has been great. SPIT Mumbai is an autonomous institute, due to which it designs its own syllabus.
 

Academics Rating
My course in this institute is Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. Being an autonomous institute the syllabus is greatly structured and in par with the industry standards, it makes the students ready for jobs. The eligibility of the students is decided by the entrance exams.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties teaching various courses are well qualified. Most of them have completed their master’s degree and have expertise in the subjects they are teaching. They all are experienced faculties teaching their subjects from a long time. Their style of teaching is unique, helping the students to understand and apply the concepts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a very active placement cell present inside the institute. SPIT Mumbai has a brilliant placement record with the average placement around 15 LPA. The highest placement salary package was about 61 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
One major drawback of this institute is the unavailability of hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This institute has a great infrastructure, with all the classes and labs being well maintained and air conditioned. The campus is fairly huge compared to other campuses of Engineering colleges in Mumbai. The amenities available include labs, grounds and canteens. Overall, the infrastructure is pretty nice. It consists of many beautiful places.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is one of the best parts of this institute. There are various places to roam inside the campus. Our college has various clubs like the E-cell and CSI which organises various events inside the college. One of the best events is the cultural fest known as Oculus. It is held in the months of February and March. There is also an entrepreneurship cell inside the institute for students interested in businesses.

    Honestly, I was hesitant to join Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai, and was regretting my decision in the beginning. But I was so wrong, I never realised when I started feeling like home in this Institute and how incredible the crowd, the workload, the studies, and everything else is. I chose this institute because of its good reputation, proper faculties and guidance from seniors. The faculty is supportive, and the labs are well equipped.
