SPIT Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus of SPIT Mumbai has separate academics blocks with proper structures. It is medium sized and located in a peaceful area. Classrooms are spacious with good sitting and projectors are used. The college has library, computer lab, electronic lab, seminar hall. There is a canteen, sports ground, basic medical help, transport and good security. My favorite place is the computer lab as it is quiet and helpful for study. The labs and seminar halls really support our course and help in better learning.

My overall campus life is fun and full of learning. The college crowd is friendly and supportive. There are few clubs like Tech, Cultural, and Sports Club. I am part of the Tech Club. The college organizes many activities like Quizzes, Coding Events, Sports and Cultural programs. We also celebrate festivals and have an annual fest, which is the most exciting part. Campus is large and consists of 5 Institutes in it, which is SPJIMR, SPCE, SPIT, and Bhavan's College. Classrooms in the Institutes are big and can hold about 70 to 150 students in a class. It consists of auditorium, seminar halls for events, and the library. It consists of a small canteen as well, and a ground for sports events, even provides a gymkhana for indoor activities or games. Events are conducted in the auditorium along with some lectures when the student count is huge.

Campus is really good. The crowd is decent and consists of students from Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban and Thane district, etc. There are around 20 clubs in the Institute and I am a part of Aerospace club i.e. IEEE AESS which is associated with IEEE Bombay. Institute conducts various sports events, Hackathons, Ideathons, etc. To encourage the spirit of the students, we have our fest named Oculus, which has recently completed its 8th edition. This institute has a 9-storey building, having different rooms for labs, theory sessions and coding. There is a playground for students to practice for their upcoming sports competitions. We all like to play on the volleyball ground. The campus has a lake where you can chill and relax. There’s also a Shiv Temple where students visit one day before their exams. A mess and canteen is available for students to get tasty food in this institute. During lunch a large queue is formed in front of the mess.

The campus life at our institute is literally amazing. Many events are organised by the organising committee like open mic contests for showing our talent and skills like singing, dancing, debating, poem reciting, etc. Concerts are held where celebrities are invited to have meet ups with their fans. Events like auctioning IPL and virtual stock market have also been organised. Sessions regarding careers about pursuing MBA or MS in abroad are also conducted to make students aware about their career opportunities.Read Full Review
