SPIT Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus is very huge as it covers about 47 acres of land. It is in Andheri, and the campus is famously known as the Bhavan's campus. Once you enter the Institute’s gates, it feels like a different World. There is little to no pollution, and greenery all around. There are ample amount of classrooms which can easily seat 200 plus students. We do have a library, lab, seminar hall, etc. There is also a canteen and 2 mess halls on campus. There is Volleyball Court too. My favourite part is the on campus lake.

The campus life of Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumba is quite good. The Institute is very peaceful in the morning and the evening. It is very relaxing to take a walk around the campus with your friends, The crowd is majorly good, but eventually depends upon what kind of people you attract. There are many clubs and committees, and I cannot stress enough on this. My experience has been very good, as I have been a part of the music band many times as a singer. Overall, campus life is a huge positive.Read Full Review

Infrastructure can be worked on, and honestly it is being worked on every now and then. We have 8 floors, with labs on each floor. There are some labs with old equipment but I think they can be worked on. Many new labs are created thus it compensates for it. We have modern PC labs on each floor, with special Mac IOS labs, GPU labs and hardware labs. Also labs are accessible to anyone even after College hours, thus helping out the students who don’t have their own laptop to work on Institute's devices. Commute is never an issue, since the Institute is situated near the metro station.

Campus life is great. The Insitute has a crowd I never expected. They are humble, fun, helping and overall great. There are almost 21 clubs and committees in our Institute, including National Level Committees such as CSI, IEEE, etc. College fest such as 'Oculus' (Techno-Cultural) is organised each year at a huge scale where many celebrities are invited. Overall I enjoy being in SPIT Mumbai.Read Full Review

There is a single academic block. Right now the lobby is under construction as it is expanding. In coming years the infrastructure will be getting better. Campus is spacious, and the Auditorium is well equipped. We have multiple canteens as well.

Overall I love the campus life. There is always a co-curricular event around the corner whether it is case studies, hackathons, competitive programming or pitches. There are lots of Clubs and Committees which you can join from the first year itself. Apart from that there are good extracurricular activities in sports, media and arts. The fest is called 'Oculus' and it is hosted around February every year. To be honest, I like the experience.Read Full Review
