SPIT Mumbai Fees Structure & Courses 2026

I chose this course because I was always interested in the subject and wanted to build a strong career in it. The institute required a decent score in 12th and a high score in the entrance exams. The admission process was smooth, with proper guidance. Exams are held regularly and semester wise. The syllabus is well structured, and the teachers explain the concepts clearly. The course is not just theory based; it also includes practicals and projects.

I am studying B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from this Institute. During my admission, there were 3 branches which are Computer Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. To get admission here, you need to give MHT CET / JEE. Then, you need to fill the application form for CAP rounds. The Institute has 3 exams in one semester which are ISE (Internal Semester Examination), MSE (Mid Semester Examination) and ESE (End Semester Examination). There are also practical examinations. The exams are generally application based. There are many projects that we need to do during our course to get hands-on experience.

The fee for my batch is around Rs. 1,75,125/- for a year. The fee for upcoming batches has been increased since the Institute is working on developing a good infrastructure for the upcoming batches. There are also scholarships for the students having financial problems.Read Full Review

I am currently enrolled in Computer Engineering in this institute. You can enroll by MHT-CET or JEE Main. Cutoff for CSE is about 99 percentile in MHT-CET for General and OBC. Admission in institute is done by CAP round procedure. Spot round and institutional rounds are also conducted after CAP round 3. In each semester, three exams are conducted namely MSE, ISE and ESE. Along with that, lab exams and viva are also conducted before ESE.

Fee for each year depends for each category of students. Institute fees ranges from Rs. 2,00,000/- to Rs. 2,20,000/- depending upon the category.Read Full Review
