SPIT Mumbai Faculty Profile

The faculty members teaching our course are experienced and have good knowledge of their subject. Most of them have done post-graduation and some even have industry experience. They teach us using blackboard, PPTs and sometimes group discussions too. They explain concepts clearly and help with doubts. The teacher student ratio is balanced, so we get proper attention. Faculty is highly qualified. All the faculty members are PhD holders from renowned institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur etc. Teachers are friendly in general but strict in case of attendance and academic rules. Few teachers like to teach using smart-boards while some prefer traditional white boards. Problem solving abilities of teachers are good and all the teachers are very approachable in general. Faculty members are good at teaching, with almost all of them holding Ph.D from IITs / NITs. Some teachers prefer teaching on blackboard, while some prefer to explain through PPTs. The faculty members have deep understanding of the subjects and hence guide us well in problem solving sessions. Teacher to student ratio is 30:70. Almost all faculties are ready to help us even after working hours. They even clear our doubts online during our ESE preparation leaves.Read Full Review
