SPIT Mumbai Faculty Profile

The faculty members teaching our course are experienced and have good knowledge of their subject. Most of them have done post-graduation and some even have industry experience. They teach us using blackboard, PPTs and sometimes group discussions too. They explain concepts clearly and help with doubts. The teacher student ratio is balanced, so we get proper attention. The faculty here is also good. They are very cooperative with students. The faculty members are mostly having Ph.Ds in their domain. The method of teaching is through blackboard and PPTs. At times, use of smart boards is also adopted by the teachers. The teacher-student ratio is also good. The teachers solve the doubts of the students in lecture as well as after the lecture. Faculty is highly qualified. All the faculty members are PhD holders from renowned institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur etc. Teachers are friendly in general but strict in case of attendance and academic rules. Few teachers like to teach using smart-boards while some prefer traditional white boards. Problem solving abilities of teachers are good and all the teachers are very approachable in general.
