Overall Rating
As, I was not able to crack JEE Mains. But, I wanted to do engineering and become and engineer and Chitkara was one of the best college in North India within a well settled infrastructure and was in my budget also with very good education. If a student can't crack the way to a good government college then private colleges are also the good options.

Academics Rating
The requirements for the program that I choose which is BE- Computer Science Engineering is very simple you have to score 60% in PCM and first come first serve is there criteria. The motive to enroll in this course is simple to become a computer science engineer and have a good job.

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is very supportive and has a full knowledge for their respective subjects. All teachers are very frank with students and have a good understanding. All of them have different teaching styles and provide all the content like notes PDFs to the students for their betterment. Almost all teachers come from good background and have degree like PhD.

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in Chitkara University which is controlled by University only and there are lots of internship opportunities. This year in 2024 LG India came to the campus for intern drive and if a student didn't get the job, then University will surely help him/her.

Hostel Rating
Hostel is along with in the campus. Infrastructure is very good but mess food is quite average. Hostel life is very nice as the campus is open for hostel students till 12 at night and all wardens are also very kind and supportive.

Infrastructure Rating
Buildings and block are all very luxurious. Classes are fully ac and an underground library is also in the campus.

Campus Rating
Chitkara University Campus life is very good. There are lots of clubs, activities, group activities like singing club, happiness club, etc. There are lot of DJ nights and concert with singers like Ammy Virk, Satinder Sartaaj, Ninja, etc. and actresses like Wamiqa Gabi and Neeru Bajwa, and many Punjabi song video shoot also happens in the campus.

Chitkara University is good for studying engineering. It is located on the outskirts of Zirakpur. I chose this university because of its excellent placement rate. The university has good faculty but the fees is high. The infrastructure of the university is brilliant as all the required amenities are present. The campus life is engaging as there are many fests and events held throughout the year.... Read Full Review

Overall experience at Chitkara University is great except the fact that hostellers have to attend classes at night time i.e. 4:10-9:30, which is very inconvenient as most of us are not used to this shift in timings, but we still manage to study and have fun regardless. I chose this institute because it was close to my home and because I did my schooling from Chitkara International School. The education over here is up to its reputation, it depends upon the students if they want to study or not, ... Read Full Review
