My Views on BPPIMT

Overall Rating
BPPIMT is a good institute located in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is a decent sized university with the enrollment of many undergraduate students. The university offers an exceptional academic environment with cutting edge research opportunities and a vibrant campus life. It has been a beautiful experience so far. I went through a bit of a rough patch early. Despite that, this institute is worth going.
 

Academics Rating
In the academics sector, our college is just fine. It's not at all bad until the end semester exam. The question paper comes directly from MAKAUT, which is not so good. More than 50 to 55% of the questions come from a single module and some of the questions are not from the syllabus. But overall I will still say that the institute’s academic field is good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faulty here is great, there’s no doubt about it. There are many professors who are Ph.D. holders and did their masters in their respective field. They are supportive towards the students, not only in studies but in other activities too. Every professor has their own style of teaching. Their method of teaching is easy to adopt and understand. If I put it in simple words I would say it's like a rainbow, different but beautiful.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell and it's very helpful for the students. The institute has more than 80 to 85% placement records in the recent years with the average package of 3 to 4 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
BPPIMT basically contains 3 buildings or blocks categorized as A, B and C. Our institute has a large library located in the C block where the students can access enough books and resources for their studies and workshops. This institute also has a canteen and a number of labs. We have a projector in every classroom which assists and helps in understanding complex topics digitally. The only downside is that we don't have an air conditioner in the classrooms which makes it difficult to attend classes in the summer.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, I am having a good campus life so far. The seniors are all supportive and friendly. Every year the seniors organize a technical fest, and in every 4 years they organize a cultural fest.

    I took admission in this institute last year through WEBJEE counseling. The institute is suitable for me because it is close from my home. I recommended the students who want to pursue Engineering degree in this institute. There are 4 branches available here in that institute CSE, EE, IT and ECE. The institute is very beautiful....
