Hansraj College accepts admissions through CUET

Hansraj College is a top-notch college at the University of Delhi. It is known for its brilliance in diversified Science, Commerce, and Arts fields for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The college has about 7 departments in Science and 8 in Art and Commerce which offer many courses for bachelors and masters, such as Economics, Political Science, Botany, Zoology, Commerce, English, and many more. Admissions are taken based on CUET scores. As it is a north campus college of the university of Delhi, the competition is fairly high.

It has highly qualified and well-educated faculty members. Their teaching styles are unique, some conduct team presentations where as some provide well-written handouts for examination. Along with lectures, we have tutorial classes which are conducted by respective professors for doubt-clearing and engagement sessions. For every student, mentors are allotted from their department.

The college has a placement cell that offers various opportunities for the growth of students. It consists of student coordinators along with conveyors who actively arrange sessions and bring opportunities from diverse industries. Case workshops, alumni talk, CFA session, and Teach for India are a few of the sessions conducted by the placement cell in the tenure of 2023-24.

Hansraj College has spacious hostel. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. It has well-furnished rooms along with dining hall, arrangements for indoor games, a gymnasium, a common room and a kitchen. CCTV is installed in areas like main gate, dining hall, etc. They have clean toilets and power backup. The entire campus is enabled with Wi-Fi connection for hostellers.

The college campus has three main blocks to conduct classes. The classrooms in all three blocks are fully air-conditioned. The college also contains a Wi-Fi enabled library which is also fully air-conditioned along with CCTV surveillance. The campus has one canteen along with 3 cafes. There is an amphitheater and two auditoriums. The blocks also have seminar rooms. There are different labs, such as botany lab, chemistry lab, computer labs, physics and electronics labs, etc. basketball court, cricket ground and football court are also available in the college. The indoor Sports complex has a badminton court and table tennis. The college consists of a gym and a meditation room as well.

An annual fest is conducted and many celebrations such as Diwali fest, Open mic competitions, etc. are conducted by various societies of the college. It has 50+ societies including departmental and ECA. These societies play a vital role in the development of an individual. Every society conducts its own flagship events. The crowd is diversified and you get exposure to talented and knowledgeable peers.
